Also, I'd like to say, what is your real waist size? I mean I look skinny just standing normally but when I breath out, my waist seems to greatly expand? I don't know why but it frustrates me
-
Even if most of the fat is around the waist?
-
So on someone with a waist size of 33inches, a 10lb weight loss would make a significant difference? Assuming that most if not all was lost from the belly.

Thank you. The funny thing is I'm from the US so I've been spelling tire wrong all this time! I'm currently in the UK, so I guess that's an excusable error.
-
Tyre as in a car tyre. Not tire as in fatigue.

Is there like a rough guide to how many pounds need to be lost for an inch of belly fat to be removed?
-
Ok thanks

I'm around 150lbs and 5ft 8inch. However, at the navel, I'm 32 inches so have quite a lot of fat there.

I can do about 5-6 full pushups where my chest is very close to the ground. I can do about another 4-5 after that on my knees. With the weight I do one proper pushups and then after that I do half pushups and knee pushups which equals to about 10 reps maybe but only about 2 of those 10 reps would be proper pushups. Also,…

I just measured the place under my ribcage and above my navel and it was 30inches, which is less. I remeasured my BF percentage. It came out with three calculations. Which ones here's the most accurate? I'm thinking the first one? Your body fat estimates are 20.19 % using the U.S. Army body fat algorithm, or 16.26 % using…

Oh, really? So when online BF calculators ask for waist size, that's what they mean?
-
Apparently, it compresses your spine?
-
Until I can find the time to join a gym, will weighted press ups suffice. If so, how can I perform these? How many reps etc. Another reason why I'm a little reluctant to weight lift is that I heard weight lifting stunts growth and apparently I should hold off until I'm 23. That's the not the main reason though, it's just…

What would be the most accurate way to measure my BF% at home? Also, I'm only 18 if that makes a difference for my target weight.
-
I see, I'm currently 31-32" at my belly button. My height's 5ft 8.
-
Ok, what size was your waist at that %?

Are these photos any better? http://s1191.photobucket.com/user/turtle3131/media/Picture037.jpg.html?filters[user]=123686609&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 http://s1191.photobucket.com/user/turtle3131/media/Picture045.jpg.html?filters[user]=123686609&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=1…

Would that be a low weight for me considering my bf % was underestimated? This is one of the calculators I used:…
-
Sorry, what pictures would be better and what body fat % would it be?
-
Can you guys confirm my BF % by looking at these two pics? http://s1191.photobucket.com/user/turtle3131/media/Picture019.jpg.html?filters[user]=123686609&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=1 http://s1191.photobucket.com/user/turtle3131/media/Picture035.jpg.html?filters[user]=123686609&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0

Cosmetic reasons mainly

Could I expect the rest of my abs to show?

Could

Also, to get to 10% or at most 12% BF, how much fat would I have to lose? I'm currently 152lbs and 5ft 8in, male. Assuming I'm 15%?
-
I calculated it using online calculators. I heard that BF scales are inaccurate, well the electrical ones are anyway. I don't know which ones you're talking about. Also, I'm a guy and most of my fat is around my waist and chest. My waist was 32/33" about 2 weeks ago but now it's 31" about. The reason for the inaccuracy is…

Oh sorry, I hadn't realised. I've been quite sendentary doing little to no exercise and barely leaving the house for the last week so I thought I'd have to eat quite low in calories.
-
I have taken into account all the advice I've been given. I definetly haven't ignored it. It's just that I am very easily demotivated so I'd like to see some results to show myself I'm going somewhere. I figured 10lbs would be enough for a significant difference though I haven't seen before and after pics of someone…

Ok, thanks. Back to the topic, could bloating have caused it? I didn't feel particularly bloated and I have been doing crunches, though no way near 400.
