great idea! i went from a 14 to a sz6. med in tops to a small. a lg in pants to small (almost. still buying meds for pj pants. i like them baggy)

That took a lot of guts and determination. Keep that attitude and you WILL be successful!!

Are you doing p90M or p90?

I think he has a good point. I don't see what harm watching your cal intake and exercising could possibly do. Hell, I've lost ALL my weight doing that. You shouldn't really gain weight, unless the drastic HCG diet has effed up your metabolism... I do think you should continue until YOU feel fit and healthy though.

I hope I look as awesome as you do @ 50!

I just jumped right in :-) I get twitchy if I rest

found this with a google search: http://www.mamashealth.com/pregnancy/pregcalories.asp **note: not sure how true it is** Eating the right number of calories lets you and your baby gain the proper amount of weight. During the first 3 months of your pregnancy, you do not need to change the number of calories you are eating.…

1. 89% of people who have posted pictures on here have been at thier goal weight at one point in time in their adult life, or highschool aged (don't know what to call that) life. So it's kind of like its a do-over. They've been there once, they know they can do it, and they did it again. Big whoop. I guess it's possible…

I had a shadow under mine at the beginning of this and now it's completely gone.
-
Mine's in my profile pic! It's a bit better than that now. I def had a pouch though... and I was so afraid that I'd have that overhang the rest of my life.

I have been chubby for EVER. I've always thought it was just how I am. I would watch what I eat but gain the weight back. I would work crazy jobs and lose weight but never get into a normal weight range... This is literally the only thing that has ever worked for me. the combination of calorie counting and regular…

Nice! I wish I could bike to work but it would take almost an hour and I just do not have that kind of time in the morning :s

Congrats!!! I also had great success with P90. Are you considering starting P90 Master Series?
-
HOw's everyone doing!? I am keeping on. I'm enjoying the program more now that it's a bit more challenging (well, "enjoying" may be the wrong word ;-)) Back from a cottage vacation (yes, I did continue with P90MS during the vacation - except for Plyo legs... I had the routines on my BlackBerry and found it really hard to…

I meet MOST of the criteria 28, 5'4", started at 177... I have a baby though, but I've always been between 160 and 180. I'm now 149 (aiming for 135ish ultimately, but my ticker is aiming for 145 right now). Pics are in my profile pic... I was a bit heavier when I took them though.

That makes sense too. Thanks mike! I will try and set my mind set in the long-term-goal range, instead of seeing differences right away. Maybe because p90 was so intense-seeming because I was a big fatty but now that I'm more fit and toned the results are slowing down too. I'm going to keep with it because I am NOT ready…

Actually that makes a lot of sense. Thanks! I read back through this thread about some of the upcoming workouts being super hard so maybe I'll get my challenge soon enojgh :D and then I'll be regretting even complaining.

Hey guys - question - did any of you feel like you took a bit of a step back when starting MS? I just started week 3 and I feel like I'm getting less fit if that's even possible. If you did feel like that, will it get tougher when I introduce the new routines next week?
-
unreal how quickly your body snaps out of it eh?

This reminds me of when I was pregnant. I never ever felt huge or unwieldy. But now when I look at pics I think "holy crap, how did I even walk?!". I went to the gym the day before I went into labor! I guess you're only as fat as you feel :)
-
We're the same height and I have to say I feel the same as you. I felt fat at 177 - US sz 14... But as soon as I started losing I felt great. I even felt good at a sz 12 (UK 16 I think). Now that I'm a sz 8 (barely, a slightly loose 10) I feel fabulous but I'm not even at a healthy weight yet according to BMI and I can see…

Same! Not in terms of shaving but sitting on the floor is a literal pain in the *kitten* now! Not to mention some of the floor exercises. Even with a yoga mat my hips dig into the floor and it is SO uncomfortable.

Well I see someone who is fairly slim. Personally I'm not at my goal weight but when I look at myself in the mirror I'm super pleased with what I see. I see all the hard work, and definition that wasn't there before, and a lack of fat that WAS there before and is no longer. I think part of it is psychological. That said,…

Dude! Reward yourself. I totally did when I saw my halfway point (that was my mini goal) :-) Congrats btw!!
-
I've never had it as bad as what you described but I'd never confront someone like that. They were a-holes then, and they're probably a-holes now. Not worth it
-
sounds delish - thanks!
-
Thanks!! Good luck with it :-) just push yourself and don't skip days :-)
-
p90 did wonders for me! i've since moved on to P90 master series
-
LOL - first world problems :-)

WOW!! You look stunning. Amazing job. Keep up the good work!
