I'd totally just chalk it up to jealousy (ESPECIALLY if they're saying it behind your back) and ignore them. As long as you feel good that's all that matters. Oh, and wear something really stunning and figure-flattering next time you see them :-)

I also find that I carry my weight fairly well. I picked 145 because that's at the top range of "healthy" for my height. I figure I'll re-evaluate as I get closer, or when I get there. I'd rather be "toned" than skinny so if I look leaner without seeing the scale go down, that's OK too.

I see a lot of people doing this and if it works for them that's awesome. I don't see it as being a good thing for me though. My body will plateau for weeks sometimes... and then I'll just feel like I failed if I didn't reach my goal. So I just have my ultimate goal and I am working toward that.

I'm 5'5 too. 150 is right at the top of our "healthy BMI" range. I wonder if your body is just super happy there? Try to focus on the exercise maybe... tone up more. Weightloss is weightloss, and if she wants to be petty then you probably have almost a more difficult journey as you do have less to lose and it's harder to get those pounds off from the sounds of it. But anyone who is losing weight should be supportive of people on the same path - whether they have 5lbs or 105lbs to lose.…

I'm going to agree with the other posters. You could try moving your "goal" from 2lb a week to 1lb a week weight loss. Try for a couple weeks and see how it goes. I was holding steady for almost 3 weeks, then went from 1lb/wk to 0.5lbs a week and immediately dropped weight. It can't hurt to try.
