I just went back a few days in your diary and i'm NO EXPERT but I noticed: - you eat a fair amount of sodium - you eat a fair amount of pre-prepared foods (boxed/fast food) - you go over your cals These COULD be reasons, although I repeat that I'm no expert

I'm a beer gal. I REALLY had to cut back on it. I have maaaaaybe a pint a week now. And only if I can fit it in. But I have to drink lots of water or I find it causes me to gain/maintain weight

I weigh but I expect extra lbs. It's that time for me at the moment... I gained a pound, then lost it... then gained .6 lb.... so we'll see what tomorrow brings. I don't lose heart when I go up a little bit so i weigh every day for interest sake

I love prelogging my food! No surprises, I know how much I have to eat, I can plan snacks better so I don't get hungry/go over my cals.... It's the only way I can do it effectively.

I find I have the best luck when I cut back on bread - not necessarily all carbs, just bread - and sodium. Increasing my water also helps too.

I feel like they should have an "inches" ticker that tracks your cumulative inches lost - for those who don't feel like the scale is an accurate assessment!

I think it does... I think if you wait long enough those things actually stop tasting as delicious. My body gets accustomed to not eating them. I used to be ADDICTED to cans of coke (just cans). I went long enough without having one and now I cannot stand the taste. I used to loooooooooooooove coke. I would have 4 or 5…

Just re-evaluate along the way. I set my goal for 145 but if I feel like I'm OK before I hit that weight then great. If I hit 145 and I'm still feeling like I could tone or lose more, then great.

Plan your day out in advance - I have all my meals picked by breakfast. That way I know how many cals I have left over for snacks and I can eat them when I feel hungriest.

Just take a deep breath and learn a lesson from your diet so far. Look at what you've been eating and why you might gain weight. My first couple days I just ate normally so that I could see where my problems were. Adjust your diet accordingly and learn from your mistakes :-) Don't panic!

You'd have to make your food diary public for people to see what's wrong. But it MIGHT have something to do with eating too few calories if what you say about being under 1200 cals is true

1.) What is your calorie goal per day? 1710 2.) How many days per week do you stick to it? All of them :-) 3.) How much, on average, do you lose per week? so far 2.4 lbs a week, but it's a whole bunch all at once, and then nothing for a couple weeks. *shrug*

I have to go per every glass - at work I drink a glass an hour basically. And I have to go once an hour too :-)

I don't cheat - I work my calories around some of the more unhealthy foods that I enjoy, or I eat smaller portions. I don't eat them all the time because it's not healthy, but I don't feel guilty when I have some chocolate or pizza.
