you don't need red meat to get an adequate amount of iron. there's something dietarily that you're doing wrong if you're not getting iron from what you currently eat.

I do a 1-1.5% incline, nothing wrong with it except for it's boring.

You don't need to reduce carbs to lose weight :) Carbs are brain food and energy for your body! What you should focus on is eating healthy, whole, complex carbs. Some ideas of that are: brown rice, any whole fruit, peas, beans, legumes, potatoes, whole grain pasta, and of course any vegetable. :)

I so agree!

Good mindset!! :)

to everyone: It is hard to keep up with everyone's post, I am not sure if I missed responding to anyone, but thank you all so much for giving your input and letting me know that I am not alone! It's so appreciated. :) We are ALL strong and can get through this. I am kind of, again, surprised at all the feedback and I love…

Ahh so cool!! Love meeting fellow vegans. :) So, to address your post: 1 - You are very right. I am sure that's what happened. It helps me feel less anxious to eat. 2 - Yes, I do exercise, quite a bit. I do yoga, run, and lift weights as well a couple days a week. Usually I feel much more powerful over bingeing when I feel…

Thank you so much, this was very helpful to read.

Haha if a restaurant ever made vegan eggplant parm, I'd be in trouble!
-
Yeah I just can't really afford it financially. Like, I just can't. Maybe some places/people will have a payment plan? Idk. because I do agree with you, that is what I need most likely.
-
Those are really good ways to keep your mind off bingeing! Thank you for the advice :)

Thank you so much!

Very true.

I definitely get crave-y about a week before that time, for sure, but I don't notice much of a pattern honestly.

Thank you!

Yeah I'm am 100% sure it's connected to my depression/anxiety. I will try to find one of those, thanks!!

Also, I am reading the post now, and this really speaks to me lol. This is usually my exact mindset that I am trying to get out of: "Maybe there are these three doughnuts. And you need them. Look, you’ve chosen the best ones even! And that’s all you’re having, obviously. Because that’s all you wanted anyway, right? Right.…

Also, just want to say, thanks for everyone for offering advice and support. I didn't really expect this many people to really respond.

You're so right, thank you!

Yeah I am vegan for ethical reasons. So I don't really look at meat and dairy foods as "bad" or "can't have"....I don't WANT them, because I'm not about taking lives to satisfy a food craving. I could go on and on.... (also anything non vegan has a vegan alternative, just saying) so it's not like I'm missing out on…

It sounds like we struggle with a similar mindset. I, too, have just eaten like that ever since I was kid. Out of boredom, because it was there, because I could and it made me feel good about being alone. I then got older, started caring about how I looked more, and started starving myself. That went on for a couple of…

That's a really good idea. Yeah, most times I will just be forced to not binge because I have nothing in my house like chips, ice cream, etc. But sometimes the urge is so strong I even drive to the store and get something to satisfy it. And yes, I think that fasting will just make it worse for me. Thank you so much!!

This is very inspirational! You've come a long way! Thank you.

Carbs are life D: i feel you

Thank you! Very encouraging! :)

Yes! Spicy sweet chili doritos are vegan and SOOO good. :) But thank you, that all makes total sense.

I really know so much about nutrition and health but my mental issues with food and having an unhealthy relationship still leads me to thoughts like "if I eat that, I will gain weight" and "well I already blew my eating for today, time to binge" even though my rational mind knows those things are not true or productive. I…
