Fruit salad, add a bit of vanilla yogurt to make it creamy. Cottage cheese & crackers or wheat bread w/ black pepper. I gained weight with each of my 3 pregnancies. It's not so easy coming off is it? Good luck to you. Was going to join weight watchers because I wanted to be accountable. I looked for for a new iPhone app to count calories. I got addicted within a few minutes. I didn't even realize there was a website.

All good points. Habits, habits, habits. That is what is important. That being said I just ate 2 squares of dark chocolate instead of the apple I know I should have had but moderation is part of habit.

Feel freE to add me. I am trying to lose my baby weight too. I've had 3 & was up about 15 or 20 more than before. It's coming off & yours will too. Just log consistently even though you are busy. You can & will do it! Slow & steady always wins!

I make my own. It's so easy. Just a can of chick peas,a clove of garlic(I put 2 cuz I love garlic), & a tablespoon or more if u like of tahini. I make like 3 cans at a time & keep it in the fridge. I eat with pita, cucumbers or just a spoon!

Glad you ranted! A lot of us needed reminding. The last 2 days I went over a bit & was feeling disappointed but that's really crazy. The funny thing is had I not been logging it, I'd have no idea & no doubt eaten much more.

Thats strange. I have found everyone on this site to be such cheerleaders for each other. I think maybe it came out wrong? Its kind of a weird comment. Either that or someone was feeling bad about themselves.

I have young kids too & have went up a bit with each child & have a time crunch problem too. Log every single thing that goes in your mouth everyday. I also agree with the planning. I try to mentally plan out my day in the morning so I can compensate for the dinner I am going to eat at a restaurant or the Lasagna I'm going…

These are some interesting posts. Snickers had some really great info I hadn't thought of. I was going to post, "not if I can help it" I try to treat my calories like a bank account but I guess that's really simplistic thinking.

I also love fresh or frozen green beans steamed & then tossed in a pan for just 2 minutes or so with a few drops of sesame oil, ginger, soy sauce & a dash of orange juice for some tanginess. I'm 5'4 started at 145 & my goal is 130. I would like to get back to 120 but not sure if I can keep it there though. I'll decide once I'm at 130. Hopefully soon!!!
