There is no just in case, I am never going back. I give away my big clothes when they get baggy.Such a rush to move into small sizes. So far I have been able to mostly shop in my closet.

You are on a slippery slope my friend. :) I have been under a high amount of stress due to a family issue so it would be very easy for me to stop working my weight loss. And I have skipped some work outs ( I blamed it on the weather). But I am pushing myself to continue logging and hitting my protien, etc. It has helped me…

Adding my welcome as well. I am in Texas as well.:) Take heart, the pre-op diet is one of the hardest parts.

Great to hear such a success story. :)

I like this. I was thinking as I read through that plain water would not do it for me at that stage. Try some flavored water, maybe with vitamins.

I have had that issue with some shakes. It pays to introduce new foods and brands slowly, even if they are handing out free samples LOL

Welcome to the group. I am 7 weeks post sleeve. How is your journey going?

Welcome. You have come to the right place. :) I am just 5 weeks post and have gathered all kinds of insight from these posts. Feel free to friend me

I bet you co-workers are amazed. :)

I had a sleeve and was able to work from home the next week. I waited a few more days before starting to drive. I would think with your responsibilities you will need to be out longer.

Try Unjury protein powder instead. I use it with Crystal light or in Tea instead of Shakes. Unjury is only available on line.

I had a small family dinner for Christmas. I am just 2 weeks out from surgery so still on liquids. It was odd not baking dozens if cookies and making pies. I did cook a ham for the family but bought the fixin's so they could be just heated. I stayed on my liquids but felt a bit sorry for myself. The family was real good…

Good luck on your surgery next week. I am pre-op, will probably have surgery in October. Cheryl
