This is my first time posting. I have been doing SL since the end of January. Went down to one day a week for about 3 months though while doing some other heavy lifting. Went back to regular SL 5x5 the first of June. Here are my stats: Squats: 110 lbs. OHP: 55 lbs. Bench: 70 lbs. Rows: 70 lbs. Deadlift: 120 lbs. I have…

If you like Chalene, check out ChaLEAN Extreme - it is a beachbody program by her that focuses on lifting, building muscle. It is great.

I lift heavy, early like 4:30 - 5 a.m. on an empty stomach and it works well for me. I agree with others that just do what works for you, if it feels fine...then it should be fine.

Bump! Could this be a "sticky" thingy...?

I basically turned an old crappy room in my basement into my workout room, so I have good floor, power rack (use it for squats and OHP), olympic bars (2) and a whole set of weights (all used but in great shape with some 2.5 plates) and a bench, it does have dip handles too. I have TV/DVD player down there for carido too.…

I have just looked at it briefly but I will check it out in more detail. Thanks

Thank you for the comments, very helpful. I really like CE and to be honest I really like videos, like following someone doing it. That is why I though CE would be good to pair it with. I am kind of insecure about coming up with other routines, so I thought a video one would be good.

bump...anybody else?

Thanks, no I am not trying to HIIT that last 15 pounds off, it is slow going though for sure. I do enjoy cardio and I understand how much diet plays a role, especially in these last few pounds.

This information should be very helpful. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

I say don't let it bother you! They will see, you will not bulk up but you will get lean and lose weight. Let that speak for itself.

Even with my HRM HIIT doesn't "appear" to burn as many calories, however, you are working harder/different. It can't be reflected in the short amount of time it takes to do HIIT because you actually burn more all day....afterwards...at least this is what I can gather from what I have read.

The guy that runs the website recently posted videos for workouts A and B, both are about 30 minutes. He said these are the complete sessions (including warm ups)...start to finish. Workout A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP2g3Sj3qSw Workout B: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro3Mh9o7JPU

I would like to know the answer to this question also. I have read many conflicting views also. Personally, right now I do my cardio after weight training. BUT I feel like I need to warm up more before hitting the weights...
