I'm big for aquafit/swimming; it can be a great burn and very little stress on the leg. Also a lot of arm cardio, punching the air will get your heart rate up, if you can use the long ropes and whip them up and down as hard as you can also will give you a good workout.

Its not a myth per say, but I think there is a lot more thinking being put into this then there really should be. If you ate 1200 calories of celery, well.. You would still be eating 1200 calories.. It takes your body a certain amount of calories (energy) to burn what you ate, as well as do the other things that it does…

Lower your calorie intake, thats about all you can do if you are not allowed to work out. Just walk as much as you can and keep it very light as far as a workout can go. Do a lot of arm work outs while your sitting on the computer etc, stuff that does not have anything to do with your stomach.

I agreee with McKay, but everybody has to find that tool that will get them to where they need to be. I'm not huge on spending money and wasting time on stuff that isnt either in the gym or healthy food; since thats all you need to get fit and healthy. Find your tool, grasp it, use it, and make your goal, no matter what.

Different People have Different opinions on this. Some people have great success losing weight by eating back their calories, others don't. Therefor they do not eat their calories. Find what works for you and go for it.

Find the stuff that has the highest sodium levels in your diet and try and exchange it for something with less sodium that will still fill you up. Try more vegetables and other low sodium choices. Good luck.

Truth is.. you probably feel tired and lethargic BECAUSE you didn't go to the gym. I know I feel like a blob and just blah if I don't hit that gym. Sometimes ya gotta push past feeling and just do what needs to be done.

We had a active living fair at work today.. and I was SHOCKED at how many children couldn't skip... At all. It was depressing to see whats happened to the kids. Hardest for me would have to be High Knees for a long period of time.

Don't worry so much about your weight, more your % body fat. A good amount for a women is roughly 25% if you want to be considered athletic, you go lower. BMI is a horrible way to say if someone is healthy or not.
