  • Depending on how heavy you were, the flabby skin does tighten up but it takes time, (trust me on this one) I still look in the mirror and see a fat man but everyone else tells me how great I look, guess it's an inner fat person thing. Hopefully one day we will be able to accept our new selves, til then, I'm a fat guy in a…
  • Well done ladies, you look great!
  • Well said. You know your Biology.
  • I always relax a bit on weekends (1 of the days is a cheat day). Just dont overdo it with tons of calories or you'll defeat it's purpose. the concept is that a cheat day will kickstart your metabolism and help you lose weight while allowing you to eat a few things you enjoy without killing your diet. I lost 80 lbs this way…

  • That is awesome, you've done a great job. Keep it up!

  • OK. guys do stuff too. Here's some things I did when I was heavy. NEVER tucked in my shirt. Always was the photographer ( missing in lots of pics from the past 10 years). Slip on shoes for sure or flip flops. Jogging pants instead of normal pants. Wore as big of clothes as possible. ( As if being big in baggy clothes…
  • Thanks for that reminder, I've lost 80 lbs and was obsessing over the little bit left to go... I'm 210 now. Mirrors and scales can be evil, I'm learning to listen to friends and family more often. They after all are the ones who REALLY see YOU. Keep strong!
  • Agree with the others here, once the fat is gone, so are the antacids. Rarely ever touch em anymore.
