  • harder i think. losing weight is a long hard process. doing it twice is torture. i'm back too! i think it's knowing every lb i lose, i was once there before plus lots. so it's hard to celebrate
  • I had a couple portions of peas and green beans with dinner tonight, think they was 240 calories. (pea and mint sauce over them, though) It really adds up, especially certain ones, parsnips, soya beans, sweetcorn or corn on the cob, sweet potatoes and so on. Same goes for fruit - fruit has many calories over a days worth.…
  • I would personally up the protein a bit. If your happy with what you eat then that's great, I'm surprised it come in at so many calories though, are you logging it all correctly? Yogurt is bland, have you thought about having a smoothie in the mornings instead? Maybe you could add ice and a scoop of protein powder? Or even…
  • 330cals is what my sushi comes too usually. which is about the same size as your portion. so sounds about right
  • Your friends are supporting you but in a different way. They're telling you that you look good. They probably don't realise how serious you are about it, as losing weight is often brought up by people who then do nothing about it. But also, you do need to learn how to do both as it's for the rest of your life, if you wanna…
  • crocodile vs lion small whale vs giant jellyfish wolf vs bear whos winning the battles
  • does a litter picker require training, or does he just pick it up as he goes along?
  • no, it's not exercise, it's housework, you've always done housework, did you ever used to wash up and use it as an excuse to eat a sandwich? i mean what? washing up is not gonna burn worthwhile calories, nor will washing clothes, or sweeping up. potentially mopping, but still you probably wouldn't even push 100 for the…
  • Yes i did see a thing for £5 loyalty points to someone whos referred you. I've already placed my order but why don't you message me your details I need and I'll shoot them an email and see if they can still give you the points. It'll only take me a couple minutes and saves you a fiver!
  • Ah well, I've put an order in, £50 worth, so hopefully it's good meat. Should be enough to feed us dinners for the week if I go get a couple sweet potatoes and some veg. Steak, beef, turkey, chicken, 3 pizzas and burgers, plus crocodile burgers for OH to try. Protein shake tester pack see if I like anything other than…
  • 230cals is chicken and veg, a good protein bar, a leafy chicken salad...much more satisfying that the sugar filled slimfast. If you would prefer to drink your meals (many do) then maybe opt for a good protein shake or make your own fruit smoothies? You'll get better value for your money, better nutrients for your body and…
  • Mcdonalds grilled chicken sandwich with sweet chilli sauce, side salad & coffee. I eat that far to often regardless.

  • Yup, I understand why now. Just found the scoop and used 1 scoop on scales and it come at 32g for the scoop.
  • Oohh, a spoon...much nicer idea. Doh! I will have a dig around soon, but I'm gonna assume now it's better to weigh it out instead? I didn't even think about that. 25g per scoop it says. 91 calories / 17g of protein.
  • tbh chinese is always gonna be high in calories so i'd either leave it or quick add. i usually quick add around 3k for any type of chinese/indian/pizza. i think even good options will add up to 1.2-1.5k
  • did you double check it or just step on it once? battery running low?
  • whatever you would usually have but without the meat? stir fry..omelettes..pasta dishes, rice, potatoes, soup, quiche ect... and you won't miss iron and protein for one day a week, but you can find them in many other things bar meat eggs, yogurt, cheeses, nuts, veg ect
  • cold turkey. i kick it every 6 months or so, then have one and i'm hooked again. currently getting over it again at the moment, 3 weeks or so. feel good. drink coffee instead. but cold turkey and stay strong
  • Agree with a previous poster, first few weeks are fairly easy, all these new choices and meals and getting into it, it's after a couple weeks your cravings will hit and you'll need to fight through them to keep seeing your results, hopefully seeing the scales going down will give you that though. As for being busy it's up…
  • is that the 10 squats a day working up
  • Get to your breaking point, push for another 30 seconds, stop and repeat tomorrow. It will vary daily but these things come with time. 30DS is quite a killer for a first time exerciser. I thought so anyway! Just remember when your trying to push through, it DOES get results
  • I weigh daily, log weekly
  • Just eat basics if thats what you want to do. Salmon, potatoes, veggies. Steam/boil/Steam Prawns on lettuce with cucumber. Chop and throw together Sushi. Eat out Chicken, rice and veggies. Grill, boil/microwave/Steam Layered boiled eggs and ham on spinach with tomatoes. Boil and chuck together Beef and broccoli dry stir…
  • Ugh, too much. Around £120 a week for 2 adults & a 4 year old. Can range from £80-£150 though. But mostly around the 120 mark. We tend to eat different meals so that really pushes up the price as OH is a big meat man and won't touch veggies. Little one loves his fruit & I spend ridiculous amounts on prepacked salads / veg…
  • Ahh, thank you everyone for the replies. I kind of new this deep down but idk, I just needed it confirmed. I'm actually going to do it, I'll book me and my partner in for some inductions and a couple personal trainer lessons each as soon as I can. He's going down the weight route, and I want to do both strength and cardio.…
  • Bump for save.
  • But I don't understand, why wouldn't just eat the food? What changes when it becomes blended? It goes quicker..or..?? It makes no sense. I don't understand why people blend there food like that. You know these things are like, sides and snacks? Protein shake after a work out, usually on top of your meals .. and say,…
  • You weigh pasta dry before cooking. It's still a disappointing amount though, unfortunately.
  • The opposite. Always clearing the plate. I still struggle to leave food on it actually. And it bugs me when my son does, but I let it go.
