  • I think that has sorted it. Thank you!
  • Same here. Having to disconnect and reconnect everytime I want them to sync since the update.
  • Thanks so much for sharing your experiences, I'm just so torn about it, especially as I've just had another shed of hair recently so it's currently really thin even though their is little regrowth these are only about an inch or so long at the minute so they aren't helping with regaining the thickness of my hair just yet.…
  • Not at all, it's backing up what I'm thinking to be honest. The other thing which may seem petty is that, although this pill is a birth control pill which is a free prescription, because I've been prescribed it as a lower dose for endo and not birth control I'd have to pay. £7.90 for a months supply. A bit of a kick in the…
  • Yep, I'm using an e-cig as well. I did break last night and have two, I'm trying not to let that destroy the whole thing. Two in a day is still better than I've managed in a long time I guess :/ Good luck at Cazco29! and a massive well done to Runningcat76 for being smoke-free!
  • Aww what?? I was mainly watching because I heard this was supposed to tie everything together before DOFP pulls some timey wimey shenanigans on all our *kitten*. And I thought the time travel element may have been what saved/brought back Coulson. Guess not.
  • Hi Claire, Nice to meet you, albeit via internet! It sounds like you have had a really tough journey so far. I think there are so many of these conditions that can be linked but getting them recognised can be really tough. I wish you lots of luck getting your diagnosis and with your surgeon, I hope they can get some…
  • Hey, I hope your surgery went well. I am recovering from my laparoscopy which I had on Tuesday. I am sorry to hear that you are suffering, I hope you get some answers from your surgery. Your symptoms don't sound like mine, but what I have learnt so far is that with endo it is all to do with where it is. So if yours is near…
  • Hi guys, Just updating. I had the laparoscopy on Tuesday, I'm off recovering at the moment. The heatwave ended unfortunately, so I'm not recouperating in the sun but it's not too bad! This is going to be a long post. I figure not only is it good for me to get it all out there but also if hearing about my experience can…
  • As a fellow boredom-eater, I like pistachios and monkey nuts as you can't just grab a handful and eat - you have to crack the shells, keeping your hands occupied.
  • Thank you so much for replying and all the infomation, it's really helpful to get an idea what they may do. I ended up having to ring them, as their letter was as clear as mud. I was talking to my friend who has had 3 laps done and she asked whether the surgery was 11am or I was supposed to arrive then. I didn't even know…
  • Got the lap appointment through. A bit less than they said, it's in three weeks time! Helpfully, the letter just said about the appointment. I have no information, no leaflet, prep instructions, nothing. They gave me two pre-op drinks when I had the specialist appointment. I don't even know how or when to take them. Can I…
  • Scare the aliens/zombie pig-men off? Something like that dance the all blacks rugby team do before a game?? That's what Zumba reminds me of anyway.
  • For any sucessful apocalpse survival team you will need both. The lifter can help with the graft or setting up your base, creating new civilisation etc. However, you will need the sprinter for foraging, rescue and liberation missions, especially early on. Moral of the story both cardio and strength have their place - both…
  • In the UK most referrals will be bounced back by the department if the proper bloods to make sure it is the correct course of action have not been done. Even if they are 99% certain, that 1% would be a waste of the specialists time and in some cases could be dangerous for the patient and cause costly legal procedings. It…
  • Thanks for replying. Logical brain thinks it is necessary to find out what is going on in there so we can at least look at sorting it, especially as it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Unfortunately, scared brain is not so sure. I know it's not a huge thing as it's only keyhole surgery but I've never had any op,…
  • Cornwall. About an hours drive away.
  • I'd like to be able to get smart clothes in Next. Unfortunately they turn down my business as even their smallest size drowns me. I wish I was that small but I'm not! I'm 35/27/34 and according to their size charts a size 10. M&S are the same. I buy most things in Dorothy Perkins and Primark where I am an 8-10 petite. I…
  • I used to have a lot more but I know have to keep to the more acceptable sort for work. This means I am gradually get less ear and more metals. I currently have: 4 x lobe 2 x lobe orbitals 1 x tragus 1 x pinna 1 x forward pinna 1 x conch 1 x nose I used to have my eyebrow done twice which I loved but it kept migrating. And…
  • Thanks for this. My first specialist appt is next week, so it's nice to have a sort of guide for what could happen. I haven't had a lap before though, and I think that's what I'm going to try and aim for. As much as the idea of surgery freaks me out, I know from experience my body does not agree with its hormones being…
  • That is odd! I'll have to remember that one to tell my friend with the nosebleeds! Weird though, when I had my belly button pierced it always used to get infected and painful around THAT time. I put it down to the amount of bloating pushing and aggravating it from the inside out. I don't know why I try to rationalise all…
  • Hi there, I know exactly what you mean about the relief or getting a reason. I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering, I hope the docs can sort out a good solution for you soon. Feel free to add me if you want to chat anytime :flowerforyou:
  • Yes, funny you should say that, I do sometimes. In my case it's usually for anything tangy; like the most turn-your-face-inside-out lemon or grapefruit juice I can find, and cheese and/or milk. I do like those things anyway, but sometimes it's a real "I HAVE to have it right now" scenario.
  • Could well be. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to moniter what meds I'm on while the heartburn is around but I think it happens when I haven't taken anything as well as when I have. I really struggle to remember what I have and haven't done when I'm in pain. Honestly, I sound like such a scatterbrain, but I'm not that…
  • YES! If left to my own devices I can and will sleep 12 hours and sometimes more. I almost always set my alarm, even on weekends, or I just lose most of the day. And it's so much worse during OV and TOM, just exhausted constantly. I also have to avoid working out during OV as everytime I have I've managed to pull muscles in…
  • Thanks guys, Nobody ever believes me that depending on where my hormones are at, I can put on up to 7lbs! I've gotten wise to my body doing this now and just don't weigh in when they are going mental. (Although at the moment I'm having to for my Pain and Symptom Diary for the consultant - not good times for my morale)…
  • YES! I love this post! I constantly get people looking down on me because I have a takeaway or meal out almost every week, and heaven forbid, I have at least one treat/bad food every single day. But, you know what? I've lost 30lbs this way and I'm not so miserable I have to berate everybody elses diet to make myself feel…
  • Love it! Looks like great fun!
  • I enjoyed it - I don't think the adverts they put out did it justice. When I saw those ads I was really worried that they'd just become almost like charicatures of the characters they once were but didn't seem to be a problem in the program, thankfully. I was a little worried at the beginning that they spent too much money…
  • Broke my rule and took a sneak peak at the scales today - 2lb is gone! Sorry for my little freak out :embarassed:
