  • You're right. And I normally don't - just curse at the "lying b*stard scales" and forget about it. I think I'm just worrying unnecessarily because the diet break thing was new for me. Thanks for reiterating it for me, like I said, I think I had to hear it from other people to shut up that nasty little irrational voice in…
  • Thanks, I know you are right - it's only 2lbs and it could be anything. I think I just needed to hear it from someone else. I shall go back on to cut again and hopefully it will be gone again like you say. Thanks for being gentle with me and not making me feel like a complete nut for freaking out over 2lb! I never thought…
  • You're mad, but the good kind of mad. That is some serious determination and strength. I can't even imagine...
  • Me too, feel free to add me :flowerforyou:
  • Yay, another couple on here! It does make it easier when you can both eat similar lower calorie meals without one whinging and feeling deprived, also you can talk about calories and not bore the other person to tears!
  • 1300?? That's less than my BMR and I'm a 5'4" girl!! If they kept that up for any length of time they wouldn't be hairy dieters any more because all their hair would be dropping out in clumps!
  • Thanks, I'll say the price changes! For me it was £30!! I'll remember to check back there when I need one again though as the free delivery still makes it cheaper than the £29+del I usually pay online.
  • I did this one for years. Until I worked out that actually, I have the smallest frame size you can possibly have and I'm short so actually, it was all fat! :noway:
  • I wish! Sadly, Primark don't do my size (When I looked at those they only went from a 34 up and only up to an F, however that might just be at my local one) To be fair, I stuggle to find my size online sometimes too! Might be good for others though...
  • Oh, I stuggle with this too! I'd say you are an hourglass. You have a defined waist and look fairly equal top and bottom. I would say tone, you don't look as if you would have much more to lose to me.
  • Exactly! I got that one too, I'd have prefered black but I'd rather pay less
  • Wow, that's amazing. Congrats on quitting. :flowerforyou:
  • I smoke and run. I have smoked since about the age of 15, which is terrifying. I want to give up for my health, but I still enjoy it. It's so frustrating. I read the Allan Carr book a while ago and quit for, oh all of 3 days. I didn't sleep for 3 days, I was full of rage and stress, kept getting dizzy and the shakes. As…
  • If you haven't already I would advise going to Frank Elfords store in Mayflower Street in Plymouth and getting fitted for some running shoes. They were really great to me and he picked up on all the old injuries in my leg without me telling him. I didn't think I was getting much pain from running in my non-specific…
  • It depends what you have access to at work and how much time, money and effort you have to devote to it! I have no time, little money and absolutely zero motivation to prep meals, so here's a few things I do; I save Chinese containers (which are very handy) and take in leftovers from dinner to microwave. In the winter I…
  • Wow, bumping this for reference later! Thanks!
  • YES, I loved watching that as a kid! That green mullet was the *kitten*! I still like cartoons now, but here's what I mostly remember being into as a kid: He-man Reboot X-men Fantastic 4 Dragonball Z The turtles My Little Pony I'm positive there were more....I must be getting old if I can't remember more than that…
  • Cool beans. I might mention it to my other half and my friend as well, they are both on here and both run so they might be interested too. We may even be able to set up a car share. Lol, when I say sprinter I mean I suck at long distances but I'm relatively fast, I'm definately no Usain Bolt! In fact I watched a bit of the…
  • Yeah, rule of thumb with Shock Absorber is that the band is tight but the cup fine (and pretty comparable to Panache sizing in my experience). So I go up a band size and down a cup size. As the cup size is measured on the difference between your back and bust measurement, so for example a G cup in a 30 back is a F cup in a…
  • Lmao, yeah that would probably be me as well without this cunning piece of engineering ;)
  • Oh, your jobs all sound better than mine I'm a Web Sales Admin. I'm the person you send *****y emails to when your stuff doesn't get delivered. Also I put all the products on the site and get emails from people telling me I typed God when I meant Good and how that's really offensive. (Seriously, actual e-mail from someone…
  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/680246-tdee-bmr-what-they-are-and-what-to-do-with-them This is from the group on my ticker 'Eat More to Weigh Less' There are also some fantastic success stories on the boards of people losing weight while eating some serious calories! I net 1420 every day, not including exercise, if…
  • I don't know if I'd manage this. I'm more of a sprinter, so I'm having a hard time even getting to 5k at the moment, I think half a marathon might literally kill me! However training with others sound interesting, although I might not be able to do it all that regularly. Dumb question, but is Central Park the big one I…
  • ^ This ^ I use scoobys workshop calorie calculator - http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ I make sure to always net above my BMR but remember if you include your exercise in your activity level, not to eat back your exercise calories as it will be included in the calculation. If you still want to add your…
  • Hey, I'm from Cornwall but only about 20 minutes drive from Plymouth. I'm 27 and I work as a Web Sales Admin for a company with a couple of e-commerce sites. I used to be a hairdresser but got made redundant and now I do this which is boring but easier, with less crappy hours and better pay! My other half has joined me on…
  • Ooh, I want to try running Siblyback, I've just started running but I think I could do it. It's about 2 miles all round isn't it?
  • I'm also from Cornwall, just over the Tamar bridge. Feel free to add me. :flowerforyou:
  • Agreed. I read this a while ago: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2176971/1950s-housewives-kept-slim-burning-calories-housework.html Quite interesting regarding our changing daily activity levels, but it also says the average 1950's housewife was a size 12 with stats of 36 - 24 - 35. I have stats of 35 - 28 - 34…
