I don't recommend it. I know that people who are getting HCG injections are on a 500 calorie a day diet. Dr. Oz was talking about it on the radio yesterday. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you consult a Doctor or do it with the HCG injections (which is under Doctor supervision anyways)

Whereas I know your body doesn't need 1200 calories a day to sustain (depending on body type) .. I wouldn't recommend 500 calories. The only way food can make you break out is if you rub it in your face. It is a myth that consuming food alone will make you break out. Perhaps psychological reaction out of guilt? Not sure.

It's not crazy small when you're short. I am 4'10" and weigh 113lbs right now .. but when you're this height, it looks like more. Goal weights for people our height are between 95lbs-105lbs. My goal ia 105lbs. I stick to 900-1000 calories a day. Maybe try that.

It really doesn't matter what time of day you eat. It is a myth that eating late is bad .. the only reason it may not be "as good" is because your body is in a resting state the rest of the day. But it really makes no difference, especially if you're within your calorie goals.

I don't know what kind of daily goals you have as far as carbs and whatnot, but I typically eat half a bagel with a laughing cow wedge in the morning. The calories you need to eat per day are dependent on your WEIGHT. Eating 1000 calories per day is NOT unhealthy. The calculation I use is (weight x 12 - 500) to lose weight. I have never hit a plateau. I have been active on here since April and tend to lose .8 lbs per week. There have been weeks where I have not lost anything (I haven't had much progress over the past month, but I haven't gained), but that is because I ate over my calories.
