I drink it on occasion. I'm not a big drinker so I'll usually go for a soda if I'm out to eat or something. But I never bring it in my house

I eat slightly above that (~1700). I generally get a 500 or so calorie breakfast in me. It has to be rich in fat or else it won't hold me over. I'll stay satiated all day until dinner, when I get a 400 calorie dinner. Throughout the day I'll have a few snacks, which total up to about 500 calories. Another 300 or so for…

I usually get 2 or 3 tablespoons of extra crunchy peanut butter in me. Keeps me full all night and is a great healthy source of fat and protein.

the shins-phantom limb sooooo catchy =]

I just tell myself that that night's sleep is going to be amazing if I'm extra tired lol

I just find working out fun. I really like strength training, that's what gets me the most excited. Good music, good atmosphere at the gym, seeing results in the mirror, the scale, your power, the "lifter's high", just something fun to do

Thanks for the info, anywhere from 35-40 grams in a meal from chicken (is that even considered a lot?) I generally get in around 80-90 grams a day
-
It's about 500 calories give or take for breakfast. After that, I'm stuffed for a few hours. I'll grab some peanut butter or another snack midday, I'll put that at about 250 calories roughly. Then dinner time, about 400 calories. I probably eat another 300 calories in random snacks. So I'm taking in about 1500-1600…

I'm d. Current: 205 Goal: 175 I wanna lose a minimum of 5 lbs. this month, but 10 would be better
-
Not intentionally, but it often comes out that way. I'm in ketosis and for breakfast I usually eat something that is really high in fat, such as eggs made with butter and veggie oil with some pieces of bacon. That holds me over for a few hours and sometimes it's the only real meal I need that day, depending on what time I…

I still have the clothes I wore when I was 20 lbs. lighter and I'll just wear those when I get rid of this weight. I still can't wear them since they're a lil tight, but I've always promised myself that I'd be able to fit into them again someday and I've been working towards that goal, but I'm 30 lbs. closer than I was 6…

The Planet Fitness I use is alright. Overall, I like how it is open 24/7. I work out at late hours sometimes, so it's perfect in that respect. I thought the "lunk alarm" was just a gimmick, something for show, cuz at the one I go to, it never goes off. But the place is really, and I mean seriously, lacking in free weights.…

planet fitness is easily the best gym around, period.

this thread is mad intense

haters are gonna hate it's not the greatest gym in the world, but for the price, i like it

Some days I'm in there for 45 minutes. Other days, it's 3 hours. All depends on my energy levels and time. I work out my whole body about 4 days a week with weights, with the other days being just outdoor running with maybe some elliptical

Well, tried eating healthy and at a calorie deficit for a month. Didn't lose a pound. I eat low-carb high-fat and eat until I'm full, and whaddya know, I'm down 35 lbs. in 3 months. I go back to carbs and at the same caloric intake, my weight loss stops.
-
Agreed. That's what worked for me
-
I dunno about other ways but I got my Ketone test strips from CVS pharmacy.

I've been on a keto diet, which is very similar. Works great. After "hell week" when my body was still adjusting [it was more like 3 days] and I was craving carbs, I felt good. The first time I did it, I lost 30 lbs. in about 3 months. Reached my goal weight, went back to eating carbs, didn't gain a single pound back. Now…

Chicken, cheese, peanut butter, and usually a high-fat dressing such as ranch. They are my staples.
-
3 scrambled eggs, 4 strips of bacon
-
I agree with ball crunches

Have you changed up your diet at all? Increase the fat? Fat keeps you feeling fuller for longer. I pretty much lose my entire appetite when I do low-carb high-fat
-
Didn't gain anything back. When I hit my target weight, I brought carbs back in and my weight stayed the same.

Personal experience. I lost about 34 lbs. in a lil under 3 months when my carb intake was under 30 grams per day. I ate a ton of fat and a moderate amount of protein, and was in ketosis. 150 grams would be a cheat day for me lol
