Find a shoe store that measures and fits you to an appropriate shoe. It might cost you to begin with, but once you know what shoe/size fits you best, you will know what to buy in the future.

Instead of lifting your upper body (like a crunch or sit up), try curling your legs up to your chest while laying on your back. You can even hold your legs to each side slightly. I also do planks!!!

I have a Road ID and I love it...hope I never need it though. I bought one for my daughter a few months ago because she started running some too and is allergic to insect stings (I had that engraved on her bracelet). They have all sorts of designs and colors. I highly recommend a Road ID!!!

I did the Couch-to-5k (C25k) program and now run 5k's regularly. I followed the program exactly as it says, and I was running 3.1 miles in 10 weeks. I wasn't very fast (more of a fast walk/slow jog), but that's something I've been working on since I finished the program. I suggest following this program to reach 5k…

I take the GNC triple strength fish oil and I dont have "fishy" burps. It's the only one I've tried that I don't mind taking.
