I love Kroger's Carbmaster Yogurt! Lots of flavors, low carb and only 60 calories! My favorite flavors are peach, white chocolate with raspberries, Pina Colada, and key lime. :)

I have dealt with this all of my life. I have low blood pressure and low blood sugar (when I don't get enough water and protien).. I'm proud of you, too! We are in this together and WE CAN DO IT! I think the hardest part for me is that we are pinching pennies and the unhealthiest food is the cheapest. (Of course it tastes good, too.)

I have Portuguese blood (almost 3/4, I am told). I speak fluent Spanish and would love to learn to speak Portuguese. I can understand a little bit just because of similarities to Spanish.

My suggestion would be to add a few healthy snacks during the day when you know you are going to work out. I know I can't eat right before I work out, but maybe try having a snack a half hour before your workout.

I hate regular sodas so when I do have a soda, I drink diet. I only have 2 - 3 a week usually. I have completely changed my way of thinking and I look at portion control more than anything.

It really depends on whether the sugars are from dairy, fruit, or pure junk. I try to keep my sugars almost to the levels MFP recommends but I know that there will be days I go over. I try to keep my junk food portions small so that I don't stress my body out with having to process too much refined sugar.

Do something to distract yourself. For me, worship is the best way to fill up without food. :)

Most gyms have someone who will show you around for free when you first join. Being a 24 hour gym, you may have to leave a message or send an email to let them know that you would like some direction. It can be dangerous to use the equipment if you don't know what you are doing, so I don't recommend trial and error.

If you have an Applebee's nearby, they have skinny bee margaritas and skinny bee mojitos for only 100 calories each. They're a little spendy but pretty yummy.

It sounds like you may be depressed. You should do the obvious things like eating/drinking healthier and get the exercise even when you don't feel like it. You may want to try eating more protien and less carbs and sugar. I have found that if I hit a plateau, cutting down on carbs and sugars can help a lot.

Welcome! I've been here just over a month and I have lost 11 pounds. It's definitely an easier way to stay motivated. Just make sure you log everything and don't cheat because the only one you will cheat is yourself. My daughter told me about it and I'm hooked!
