Throw on some fajita seasoning, grill, put in corn tortilla and add pico de gallo.

Greek yogurt. I prefer the Dannon light and fit cherry.

If you eat out only occasionally (I eat out once every month or two), then I say the hell with calories for that night and resume counting the next day.

How many friends do you need to get fit or achieve weight loss? None. It's your personal responsibility and accountability that will allow you to succeed or fail.

Losing inches is a good thing. I would suggest looking at your food plan and determine if you are in a caloric deficit. Cut back a few calories and see if there is progress after a few weeks. If not, cut back a few more until you are losing weight. It's a long process and congrats on your success so far. Keep it up.

Beer.

I eat a potato almost every night. One medium (145-150g) yukon gold roasted with 1/2 tbsp of unsalted butter (nothing else) and it's what I like and fits into my calorie count plus are a great source of potassium. So I say they are "good."

I like to eat Dannon's Light & Fit Greek Yogurt. The cherry is my favorite, but blueberry and strawberry are pretty good as well.

You could always try walking. Start out with say 20 minutes and work your way up depending on how you're feeling.

I usually eat soup when I'm sick. It's quick and easy.

To that particular person it may be junk. It's all individually relative. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

For me it was a trip to the cardiologist.

I get up at 3am and at the gym by 3:30.

As for a good low sodium, high protein food, Bumblebee Very Low Sodium White Albacore is good if you like tuna. I limit my sodium to under 1500mg daily due to health reasons and accomplish it by reading labels. To be labeled "low sodium" the item needs to contain 140mg or less per serving.

Greek yogurt

I with you on this, except with me it's beer. I generally at least have a 6-pack if I have one. Not to mention it seems to be a trigger for me to eat more.

My favorite pasta is really simple...saute garlic, onions, asparagus, and shrimp in olive oil...pour over whole grain angel hair pasta. Add red and black pepper to taste.

My go to snacks, besides fruit, are Emerald Almonds (100 cal pack) and Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt (80 cal). I like to eat snacks high in protein to help with satiety.

As long as you stay in a caloric deficit, you will lose weight. I personally eat an entire bag of Birdseye Steamfresh veggies about 3 nights per week, but I still come in at or under my caloric goal.

Animals were placed on Earth to feed us. It's great being at the top of the food chain.

You will hear several responses on here. Firstly, it's all about a caloric deficit; therefore, a low carb diet isn't really necessary. Secondly, 1400 calories may be a bit low. And finally, most likely you are under-estimating your caloric intake and/or over-estimating the calories you are burning. That should sum up the…

If you aren't suffering from a medical condition, I wouldn't worry about the overages in protein and sugar very much.

If you are new to a low sodium diet, I would suggest reading labels. There is a lot of hidden sodium in places that you would never guess it to be. For example, chicken breasts. Companies often inject them with broth or saline to plump them up.

I wouldn't say that Tim was necessarily wrong. I know that exercise suppresses my appetite but that may not be true for everyone. It's an individual experience and should not be generalized.

I agree with clambert. Move forward. Just don't do it too often.

Lean meats, beans, lentils, Greek yogurt, etc...there are a lot of lower calorie foods with high protein content.

Firstly, congrats on the 3 lbs. Secondly, don't compare yourself to others. Each individual loses/gains weight at their own rate. As long as you feel good and your clothes fit better then you have succeeded.

When traveling I use the Slim Fast products because I don't want to bother guestimating calories in restaurant food for a prolonged period of time.

If you are not on a low sodium diet, put the chicken in a brine overnight. If you are on a low sodium diet, like me, then use a thermometer and remove it when it hits 160 for breasts and 175 for thighs.
