I'm vegan and currently doing the Happy Shape course which is a calorie controlled eating plan with lots of recipes from The Happy Pear (who are twin brother chefs from Ireland - you can check their YouTube channel). I'm less than 2 weeks in and have already lost 3kg (6.6lbs). They do have some very tasty recipes including…

I grow Oregano and Marjoram. To be honest they taste pretty much the same but are amazing in a Ragu, moussaka or pizza.

I notice you don't eat breakfast and your lunch is low calorie too. Your dinner I can't tell as you haven't put quantities and personally I don't think you are eating enough. At 112lbs on your typical height/weight chart you would be considered underweight at 5'7" in height. small frame 123-136 medium frame 133-147 large…

It can help to make your diary public if you want advice with what you are eating and if you are logging your exercise. Are you eating back your exercise-earned calories?

Maybe it is more to do with your body composition than being fat. I know in the past I read some posts on here where people referred to something called "skinny fat" which meant that they lost weight through calorie reduction but didn't incorporate any strength training into it so although they were slim, they weren't…

There are a set of Irish twins on YouTube called The Happy Pear. They are vegan and do lovely tasty food that my vegan siblings have tried and shared. X

Oooh, like a mini cheesecake?

My hair grew really quickly (I grew it for my wedding). Make sure you're getting loads of fresh veg and fruit. I also made sure I had a fine trim of the ends every 3 months. In terms of losing weight for the wedding, I failed and in the end had to accept who I was a buy a new dress. Please make sure you buy your dress in…

Another option instead of music is an audiobook.

I just eat pasta, I weigh it out and go for whole-wheat varieties. I do bulk out my ragu with blended veg such as carrots, onions and marrow or perhaps courgette (zucchini). You can cut back the pasta without cutting out.

Ooh, didn't see this. Was it any good? Worth trying to find on 4OD?

Hiya, I have several kilos to lose before I even try on my wedding dress in my Mum's wardrobe. Need to see where I am at come the end of February and decide if I'm going to have to buy a new dress. Am in Horsham.

Another 3.7lbs off for me. Should take total to 410.3

Lost another 2 lbs this week. 381lbs.

I'm not entirely sure what your basic calories for the day are. Mine are 1650 which I calculated manually from some other websites for weight loss and then adding my exercise calories after. At the moment I seem to be losing 1-2lbs per week. Not sure if this helps you at all, everyone is different and everything should be…

I lost 1lb last Monday and forgot to update you. Hoping for more than 1 this Monday.

UK used to be predominantly imperial with lbs and oz when baking (my Mum's generation for sure were imperial) but I've been brought up using the metric system. Just to make it even more confusing, the US and Australia have different cup measurements.

The one thing MFP will highlight is how much you are eating. The first thing I did was set my calories to maintenance level and just ate what I thought was normal to get an idea of where I was going wrong. Sometimes it is better to make small changes too so that you ease yourself into restricting your calorie intake.

West Sussex here. Always up for more Brit friends.

I've recently returned aboard the wagon. Using my GPS watch for runs and walks with Strava. I have crappy days too, Sunday (yesterday) shows it. I'm also not massively concerned about the macros at the moment although on my good days I'm not doing so bad.

The couscous will have upped the cals as would the beans. I personally would have done one or the other not both.

Hi Caroline, You should be able to create a ticker by going to the bit at the top where it says "Hi (Username)" and then in there it should give you the option to create a progress ticker. Feel free to add me. Oh, and although I do have ticket set to show in my posts (I've double checked the settings), it isn't

Lost another 3 pounds this week.

Such an achievement. You are such an inspiration to so many people. It isn't just that you have lost tonnes of weight, it is that you've carried on going or three years. Thank you so much for sharing your story!

This weekend is the 10 year anniversary of Park Run. I like the fact that some of them organise pacers for if you want to aim towards a faster time or know you're on track for your time.

I had the same symptoms which turned out to be plantar fasciitis. In the first instance I went to see an Osteo to relieve the stress on the plantar tendon which runs from your heel to your ball of your foot. She managed to help relieve it so I could at least walk more than 1km without pain and swelling. Next, I went to see…

The 3lb needed adding. This week however, I have maintained so it is only last weeks 3lb.
