I did really good at maintaining my weight for about 2 years. Then last fall I had surgery, and have slowly put back about 20 pounds. I will loose the weight again!! I know how!

Glad to know I am not the only one doing the low carb / high protein plans
-
I do follow a Low Carb/High Protein diet. I have been on this plan since April of 2011. This is my new life-style. I watch my portions on everything and exercise.

I take Phendimetrazine. I take 1 in the AM and 1 in the afternoon. I don't really notice any side effects. But, I agree, it curbs the hunger, and I feel I can make better choices when I am not "starving to death".

I have a gazelle and use it primarily as a cool-down stretch. My husband had back surgery a while back, and uses the gazelle alot to help him stretch. I also have an ab lounger, it is ok. A trampoline might be fun for a while.

Ok I am confused - what is the difference between a tablet and a netbook? I was wanting a tablet to work from out in the field, but if a netbook would work that would be great, they are so much cheaper!!

I drive (for work) a 1996 Ford Explorer with an insurance reclaimed title. It is "seafoam" green in color and squeaks like no other. I call the squeaks my advance warning system for bystanders. My husband and I share a 2011 Ford Lariat for our daily transportation needs. I promise I get treated so different depending on…

Ok, I just looked up fitness programs on my tv system, and I am so excited. I am going to set the DVR right now. Thanks

What cable/satellite system are you referring to?

I read on a kettle bell website that you burn about 20 calories a minute. I love my kettlebells, even though I haven't worked with them in a couple of weeks.
-
What about upper arms? Mine look about gross, all saggy and baggy and wiggly!! YUCK
-
Try kettlebells - according to the website it burns 20 calories a minute. There are workouts on-line and all you really need is a 2-5 lb dumb bell. I use Jillian Michaels' kettlebell workout, but there was a good dvd that came with my Danskin kettlebells

When I was 21 and expecting my first child I was diagnosed with a precancerous condition. Back then there was not a name like HPV, but having a step-daughter also diagnosed with HPV I know that is probably what I had. I went through my medical procedures and my every six month paps for three full years. When I was…

Pretend you are wearing your Mom's jeans, and measure where your smallest waist area is. Look in the mirror at the hour-glass shape and go in the middle.

Try Biotin. I know alot of multi-vitamans have it already in them, but boost with an extra.

Suite 7 Pleated Ruffle Dress This is a really cute dress.

Stay away from grains, pastas, only minimum dairy, and fruits. Read ALL the labels on things you buy. Don't buy prepackaged diet foods. Prepare lean proteins and veggies. Pay close attention to serving sizes. Watch your vegetables also, some are higher in carbs than you realize. But the best way is to seek the advice of a…

I was so excited when I went from obese to over weight too! This is a victory, keep it up!
-
I do a low carb diet. I stay well below my calories most of the time.

I am also 5'2, and weighed 210. I am currently at about 157. I too want to get down to between 125 & 130. My weight loss counselor said that may be too much, but I don't think do. Up until the last 10 days or so, I regularly logged into MFP and did my exercises. I use a treadmill, elliptical, gazelle, shaker weights, ab…

I like my gazelle. It doesn't really use up very many calories, but I use it more as a cool down or a stretch.

Good job. Keep of the good work.

Feel free to add me and my sister, roxiegirl123.

I have a Dr's prescription for Phendimetrazine. I use them very sparingly with a strict diet and good exercise. I have to go for a "check-in" weekly. I would also suggest a good multi-vitamin, and maybe add a B-Complex. I have lost 38+ lbs since April. However, my husband doesn't take anything other than vitamins and he…

I have used the Miracle Noodle spaghetti and the rice one. They are OK. The texture is kinda weird and funny. But, if you truly have to have "pasta" then they will do. Just follow the directions and rinse them well. The blanching is almost as important. I have 3 kinds, but since I have limited dairy, there has been no use…

Right there with ya. My upper arms are yucky looking. And let's don't even talk about my thighs. When I was heavier, my arms were big, but I still went sleeveless, but now, I am looking at cap sleeves and longer shorts. Oh well, at the least the size I had to buy was smaller.

I too have pain in my right hip. I have been to an orthopedic and haven been through a round of steroids, and a cortisone shot directly into the joint. I have been reluctant to do much exercise because the repetitive motions just kill me. I starting taking a prescription "Mobic" with a couple of tylenol and that seems to…
