I am 7 1/2 months out and my hair is thinning as we speak... lol. I started out with fine thin hair and even though I started taking Biotin prior to my surgery and am getting my protein I have lost a significant amount of hair in the last 2-3 months. I had my hair cut shorter than its been in 25 years!! Took a little…

Jill you are not alone! At 7 months out I have been letting carbs get out of control. Life has been legitimately busy and full of stresses these last couple of months, but I have let myself use that as an excuse to stop going to the gym and getting my walks in. This is exactly what my Doc and my trainer at the gym said! My Doc encouraged me to start slowly with light weights after 4-6 weeks. The more muscle you build the better the actual fat loss.

I had my sleeve in Feb also. Just started noticing hair loss in the last month. I have been taking Biotin since before my surgery but I do struggle with the protein. @brookelayne Thanks for the tips! I think I will try the protein in my coffee...
