  • I'll be 32 in June.
  • My step-daughter and I both commented that it seemed a bit easier today. I'm pretty sure we are going to be even more sore tomorrow though. My other step-daughter joined in and now it's the three of us doing it together. I like having workout buddies!

  • I'm aiming for Monday through Friday and resting the weekends. I also run so in reality Saturday will be my only true rest day.

  • Same thing for me, I don't see the headers. I did measure and will enter tomorrow.
  • My step-daughter and I finished day one this evening, woohoo. We are a shaky couple of gals but it will be worth it eventually.

  • I work all day and I have a really hard time getting myself up in the mornings so I either do it before dinner or before bed, depending on when I have time. My kids are older so they don't factor into it except for the whole having to feed them thing, lol. One of my kids actually wants to do it with me. She's 16, I'll try…
  • Hi, just found this group and I was planning on starting the 30 day shred today. I need accountability! Looking forward to the added motivation.
  • Hi, my name is Cheryl. I'm not really good at these intro things but here it goes. I work in a nursing home and I'm the step-mom to three great kids who have been through a lot. My favorite exercise is running but I'm trying to broaden my range and also to tone up. I've always been self conscious of my body, even when I…
  • I like the tinkyada brand as well as trader joe's. Both are brown rice pastas. I also like asian rice noodles.
  • You could google running watches. There are very affordable watches out there. I used to pre-route my runs on mapmyrun so I would know the mileage ahead of time and then just watch the time myself.
  • Runkeeper is available for iphone and android phones. I used to use that before my hubby got me a garmin watch. I used to have the nike+ sensor and found to be a pain with needed to calibrate it for different runs.
  • <same screen name. I'm not very creative.
  • Is it okay if I jump in here? I'm training for my 4th half marathon and it's my first time really following a training plan. I just kind of winged it before.
  • Redbridge is meh. My favorite is New Grist but I've also heard good things about Bard's Tale if you like darker beer. I'm not much of a drinker and never really was much of beer drinker and I've been off gluten for so long that I don't even know what regular beer tastes like anymore.
  • That's what I was hoping. If I stayed on track for three out of every four weeks then I'm ahead overall. I just started losing weight after my last period and am a bit disappointed in how badly I did with eating this week. I guess I won't worry about it too much. It's not always chocolate that I crave and rarely salty…
  • I've been on them for about 9 months now and just recently got really serious about my weight loss. They don't seem to affect my ability to lose weight and I gained a minimal amount of weight since starting them but I don't think my weight gain was due to the pills. I was having trouble losing weight at first but with a…
  • If you can, cook a whole chicken instead of buying pieces. A whole chicken at my grocery store is just under $5 whereas the breasts are $11. I eat the legs and thighs for two meals then use the breast meat for lunches. Saves you money that way. Frozen vegetable, things on sale. I tend to make dinners that I can eat at…

  • I have to eat low fat more for my health than for diet. I do allow some calcium, I eat a yogurt everyday. I also do non fat milk in my smooothies and low fat string cheese for snacks. If you're not getting at least 1,000 mgs of calcium a day you should be taking a supplement. There are veggies that have calcium though. I…
  • Mine is viewable to friends. I like the feedback that I sometimes get but quite honestly, I was hoping I'd get more. Maybe I should just make it public to everyone?
  • I use drymax socks. Never had an issue with them and I've never had a blister. Can't remember which ones I got, I think ultra. They're light weight for warmer weather.
  • Hello and welcome! Feel free to friend me if you like. Lots of support and good people around here.

  • Also, corn, peas, and carrots should be avoided on a low carb diet.
  • Variety is the spice of life! I'm always open to new friend requests.
  • I'm completely open to friend requests. I love giving and receiving support.

  • I don't really have any advise for you but I've enjoyed reading what everyone is suggesting. I have 16 year old twins, they just turned 16, and no matter how much I talk to them about healthy eating and drinking enough fluids, they just don't want to hear it from me. Even with exercise. They don't like their thighs and we…
  • I'm looking to lose a little over 30 to start. Sending you a request.
  • Originally from Reno (yuck), moved around a lot as a kid but have been a happy residen of Seattle, WA for over 20 years now.
  • I allow myself one free day a week, as long as I've been good the rest of the time. I see it as rewarding myself for doing a good job and staying on track and it helps to motivate me. You'd be miserable if you never let yourself have the goodies that you sometimes crave.
  • Salads with meat in them, fish and veggies for dinner, omelets, like others have said. I like to make quiche without a crust so it's basically a sort of egg casserole but very yummy. I like lettuce wraps too.
  • Thanks for posting the ingredients for the greens powder. Unfortunately I can't have it as it's not gluten free.
