Keep your head up. Some people have no clue, they really don't. It doesn't matter what ANYBODY but says, you take that negativity and turn it into a positive. You'll be just fine. :)

I wanted a Link, but now I'm wondering if I should just look at the UP products for Jawbone? I'm so confused. :grumble:

Please add me. I've realized I cannot do this on my own and need goals with a group! Thanks!

Sweat is fat crying. I've never heard that before and I need to print that out and put it on my computer so I drag my behind away from this thing and get that fat crying!

That is an AWESOME, FANTASTIC result!

We were told to send healthy snacks to school, but the teachers use candy to teach the kids how to count or give it as a reward. It's the portion size and the exercise. The more somebody tells me I can't, the more I want!

I so struggle with this and have no true answer. I've decided to use one word, choice. It is my choice what I put in my body and my choice on how I handle stress. I've started over so many times, this time my choice is to not stop until I achieve my goal. I've decided on what i will do with my stress. Take a deep breath,…

You are a great inspiration to your entire family. You've done a fantastic job. I'm often amazed when looking at before and after pictures. You truly wanted this, went for it - and got it! Congrats!

Oh I so hear you. I feel SO GOOD after I exercise, but finding the time, finding the motivation......Kids, household, work - when is there time for me? If I want it that bad I'll make the time. Even just little things with the kids. My son wanted to shoot hoops at the Y, so I went and walked the track for 45 minutes (we…

Oatmeal with craisins :)

My problem is I LIKE to eat, I don't have to feel hungry. It's all a mind over matter for me - is there a pill/potion for that in that long list?! I've done it before with hard work and watching my calories. Plain and simple.

Speechless....................but what a GREAT job so far. Continue on your healthy lifestyle.

You are absolutely right. Welcome. I've never had to experience any surgery, but I know people who have had it done and who have gone back to their nasty bad habits and the surgery failed. You can do it! Good for you in taking the first step. Laura:flowerforyou:

I guess I can join this club! I just started exercising again today and logging everything again. I had surgery the beginning of March and that has been my "excuse." I'm up 10 pounds from where I was 4 months ago. I'm determined this time to let the weight come off and not get let it come back because I had a good loss. I…

West Bend and we are the sports family. Go Pack and Go Brewers!

I so agree. I would fail miserably, and have, if I cut out certain foods. I work it in, less amount, more exercise; no more deprivation -- but also not all the time.

Yep, bodies have a mind of their own, don't they? LOL!!!! Love your post.
Listen to the woman. She's one smart chica
Thanks. I will!

All good thoughts. My exercise burns should be correct as I wear a HR monitor and I walk pretty fast. I'm a sedentary person - sit at a computer all day, so I know that's correct. I have a lot of "food for thought" here and I'll take it all into consideration and make some changes. Fruits and veggies I really need to add…

I guess as I get older that is something I have to change! Will get going on that and see what happens. Thanks.
-
Definitely could be; I'm an impatient person. :( I will try my best to stick with what I'm doing now for 1 month and see what happens. Thanks!
-
Yep, I know I'm not the only one; strength in numbers? lol!
-
You certainly summed all of the comments up! Your comments read by others will help them (they helped me)! You'll do it, we'll all do it!
-
Way to go! We all know how hard this can be and it looks like you're right on track! Keep it up.
-
Too funny! I thought the same thing :( Back on track! We can and will do this.

I love pb; and I love your post, especially the copious amounts!

I have a Polar FT7 and I LOVE IT! It gives calories burned, time spent exercising. It has more bells and whistles than I use right now, but during the winter, when I find I always have more time. Yes, it has a chest strap and because I wear a bra, I don't even feel it.
