why not add more veggies? the carb count in veggies are not all out crazy, and you may find that you'll appreciate more variety than just meat and eggs for a long-haul meal plan. The quickest sugar fix ever: a half teaspoon of rough-honey. I love honey, actually. It's relatively low cal, and for the intense sweetness, it's actually fairly low sugar too. And, a teaspoon on the tongue will go a long way towards satisfying the sweet-tooth since it does taste so intensely sweet.

I keep a bottle of unsweetened cashew butter and a bag of almonds in my desk drawer, and a bag of some nuts online fruit/nut type chews/to small to be bars... I very irregularly bring in fruit, or a dessert (for sweet-tooth moments)... my cravings are usually more salt based than sugar.
