  • Can you work in a piece of chocolate to calm the urge? I hear ya' but good for you for not giving in to the urge to binge!
  • Now I want pizza, bagels and beer. Thanks, y'all.
  • Weigh once a week. Your body can hold onto water and salt. It's normal. :)
  • I've added cycling to my exercises (outdoors, anywhere from 5-12 miles each time) and have noticed my knees are definitely better. My right knee "clicks" a lot after jogging...I jog usually on weekends on the treadmill. Since I started cycling 3 weeks ago I've almost forgotten about my knee. Good luck!
  • Me toooooo. Can't stop eating them, which I guess is better than chips...
  • I love this site but I feel like the exercise totals are off...I think the estimates are too high and it causes me to over eat. I now low ball my exercise totals.
  • Not to discount you but that's really not much of anything. I can fluctuate up to 7 lbs if I eat certain foods, usually containing gluten. My daily fluctuation (if I don't eat gluten) is 2-3 lbs at most. It's normal, a lot comes into play, sodium, changes in diet, weather, etc... You're all good.
  • It's totally normal. Sad, but normal. I don't know many females who feel the way they look, including myself!
  • I know this is an old topic but holy crap am I happy to hear I'm not the only one. It's been like this since college and though it can be controlled sometimes other times I need to lock up my food. It sucks for weight loss. Sorry/happy to hear I'm not alone.
  • Congratulations!!! You look great!
  • You're supposed to eat them but it's okay to keep a deficit, just be smart about it. If you exercise vigorously you should definitely eat more than you would on a non-exercise day. The point is to eat less, but eat enough to sustain yourself.
  • Weekend mornings, after the gym, before shower. Naked. (and YES, wet hair DOES make the scale a lb heavier)
  • When I was in better shape I allowed myself a cheat meal...it keeps me sane. A cheat day is too much for me and would tempt me to carry it into the next day. Since I have more weight to lose I allow a cheat snack. This weekend it was a piece of cake. I am not a dog but I do support rewarding myself with food. I don't…
  • I've found that once or twice a week in helpful. Saying that...I'm nuts and check almost every day but I can tell you that is NOT motivational and completely stupid and maybe (definitely) an OCD thing.
  • Can you add your favorite fruits? A banana, some strawberries...anything to alter the flavor?!
  • I just got a bike after 20 years. My train ride is about an hour each way...it's been nice to come home and ride for a bit at night and on weekends!
  • It's not personal, some of us want to be left alone. I don't think it's about being bigger or smaller, it's about getting the job done. Keep doing what you're doing because you want to, not because you want the same in return.
  • It's great if you can enjoy/tolerate the juices. I'm actually doing one right now, it's probably my fifth one and finally found a brand I like. I would suggest strongly to not do this for weight loss. You'll lose a few pounds that will most likely come back immediately after you start eating solid food again. I'm not sold…
