I use my HRM, for me I've found 40 minutes burns about 400 cals, but thats based on my height and weight. Try logging it as circuit training?

So third day in - My calves and back are killing me! I'm excited for tomorrows workout, I previewed it and it looks a lot less intense, but I LOVE how I'm burning around 400 calories oer workout! It seems like such a great burn for 40 minutes or so! How is everyone else doing?!

I use a HRM, but before that I would bring my phone to the gym - I know, I know drives people nuts, but I only texted I swear! Anyways my phone and my ipod touch have a memo app that I used to jot down my calories! Good luck!

My one year lab retriever pup likes to lick the sweat off my face, lay on the yoga mat cuddle with my while I do sit ups, and bark at me when I do jumping jacks. Shes a real gem to workout with! lol

I find if you just keep your hands busy - doing a craft, a puzzle, I play wii sometimes 9burns some calories too!) or as mentioned above going for a walk. Call a friend, clean a drawer, do you nails - once their wet you can touch anything!

When I used to Row my coach used to tell me my workout wasnt over til you "****, puke, die, or the timer on your machine runs out" So far only the timer on my machine has run out lol also its only going to hurt for a short while but the results will last.

I've learned a few things: If its not in the house you can eat it, If you plan your meals and snacks you're not only more likely to stick to a healthy diet, but you then know roughly what your calorie intake for the day is. Terrible attempt on my part! I'm only at 1500 (which is more than I typically burn in a week. Ive had 3 midterms and have been diagnosed with some medical problem but I am down 1.5 pounds so far this week! I'll take it and try harder next week :)

I take 1 cup of frozen strawberries (or any other fruit), a scoop of protien powder, a cup of soy milk, and blend. Its super filling...mine usually come to around 200 calories.
