  • My fiance payed for our first few dates though I always offered and felt uncomfortable when he did pay. As much as i like being "taken care of" I think there are much better ways he can "take care of me" (whiche he does!) besides paying for our dates. Dinner is expensive depending on the place, movies are expensive and so…
  • When I was a student and working full time I would set aside 45 minutes at the gym a day. I would bring a textbook or notes to the gym, prop it up on the machine and run/walk/climb. It was what worked for me!
  • Hello! To answer your questions... - what kind of build are you? Medium - how much do you currently weigh and what size pants on average do you wear? I'm 153 pounds and I wear a size 10 - what is your goal weight and why? My goal weight it 145, I used to be that weight and I felt great - how old are you? I'm 22 - and have…
  • I'm a new grad, I just finished nursing school a year ago. I was in school full time, I worked pretty well full time, and was busy. I learned to study n the treadmill. I would make up mini quizzes, and if I got the answer wrong I would up the incline or sprint for 30 seconds. I probably looked ridiculous with a binder on…
  • I've been working 11-7 for over a year now. I find that if I can squeeze in 30 min of exercise on my breaks it helps a lot. Even if it's just a walk. Lately I've been doing the 30 day shred, it's quiet wherei work at night so I just find a quiet area and take my break and workout. I also plan my meals a day in advance,…
  • Welcome! Free to add me if you would like! :)
  • I work 11 pm to 7 am and I go by 12 midnight to 12 midnight. I usually have a snack around 3 am, another snack at 7:30 am, I go to the gym, have breakfast before I go to sleep, wake up, eat dinner and get ready for work. everyone finds thir own way, it took me a year!
  • I live in Canada, they sell dunkaroos at Walmart. My fiancée buys them, he's like a 6 year old. I can't get over eating icing and cookies as a snack, but they were my favourite school snack when I was in grade school!
  • Hmmm, well I love popping anyone with puss, gross, I know. I also carry around almost every OTC medication you can buy, I don't know why, but I must be prepared for any illness that anyone around me might have. I have been told by my fiancée that I have many faces depending on what I'm doing. Microfiber clothes make my skn…
  • What about spending time together and going for a walk? I have a dog, and often my boyfriend and I will take her for a walk together, burns some calories, you get some fresh air, and it gives you a change to talk and catch up. Cook together as a "date" you then have total control over what you eat. As for school, I was a…
  • I say if what you're doing if working for you, stick to it! I've been at the same calorie goal since I started and I've lost 30 pounds. (it says 19, but I reset it at one point!)
  • How about a cup of herbal tea? I heard somewhere that this can squash your cranvings!
  • Where I live there is a dog "park" where you can take your dog to let run lose, or take for long walks in the wooded area behind the open field. I take my pup whenever I can, its hard sometimes though, because I work the night shift. But on my days off she comes almost everywhere with me :)
  • yummy!
  • I do midnight to midnight. I usually start work at 11:30 pm, and will generally just have an apple and coffee over night, so when I go home at 7:30 am I have breakfast, go to bed, wake up have dinner at dinner time, an d "lunch" before I leave for work. I generally hit the gym around 6pm.
  • I would be game! 15 pounds will be my goal! I'm currently 168, and would like to be down between 155-153
  • For some its just not in the budget, students could spend $40 on a HRM or $40 on food. It might not be 100% accurate but as long as they are smart about estimating I dont see the harm.
  • I am drinking one right now! Super easy, super cheap, and awesome!
  • I feel gross, I've never washed mine. I've given it a good rinse once or twice...perhaps I should throw it in the washer!
  • I stumbled across this: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2011/06/perfect-iced-coffee/ on pioneer womans website, and i tried it out and it was excellent for a nice strong brew off coffee for any iced coffee drink. Be warned, her ideas for making it sweeter and taste better are not figure friendly, but everyone on here is…
  • Ah, my bathroo and kitchen have the same floor, which is textured tile. Maybe I will try to weigh myselt on my livingroom hardwood floor, and change the batteries! Thanks for the responses, good to know it isnt just me! :)
  • Old navy has some fair prices workout clothes that I love. I'm not sure if you have a store called Garage anywhere near you, but they have $7 tank tops, theyre just cotton racerbacks and I LOVE them to workout in, sleep in, sit around the house in...theyre overall wonderful in my opinion.
  • I got it at GNC, its in a big black tub with a gold lid :)
  • Yum! these are great ideas! thanks :)
  • I only burned between 300-400 calories, but I my abs really toned out. I didnt loose any weight, but i lost inches!
  • My little sister who is 5 now (yes, there are 16 years difference between her and I) was born with a heart murmur, and still has it to this day. Shes tall, but petite for her age and the doctor has not been concerned about it, though does monitor it. To be honest, as long as the doctor is monitoring it, I would try not to…
  • What if you try to incorporate your son into your workouts? Go for a walk, play tag in the backyard or park, maybe play wii fit, soccer. I'm not sure where you live, but if its warm(er) than here in ontario you could go for bike rides. If its cold bundle up and go skating, sledding, just outdoor winter fun. I know puppies…
