Feel free to friend! Yeah...things can be hard to stick to after the initial push. It's important to surround yourself with the energy to keep you on task!

Beyond my love of Tina Fey, I wanted to wish you all the best! I am getting married next August, and you're inspiring me to push off the extra 15 lbs I've got to drop. So excellent! Stay happy!

Hahaha! Love, LOVE Tina Fey!

All the nerds! I'm in! Add away!

This is my sentiment, exactly. 5x5 is a great training program. Go nuts. Lift heavy.

You're right. We don't know other peoples' battles. That's why I said it doesn't merit judgement, in that respect. I just don't agree with the idea that "obesity" should be cited as cause for being disabled. If anything, it's a side effect of illness or some other cause.

Getting fat takes work. It's a choice. Getting un-fat takes work. It's a choice, too. Being fat is not a disability. It is not something that just happens. It doesn't merit judgement - everyone is who they are (for the most part) based on their own decisions, and if someone decides to eat overly processed, unhealthy foods,…

Hey! You know, it's really interesting. I read an article yesterday about how it's almost necessary to be a phoenix when it comes to this stuff. http://www.t-nation.com/powerful-words/phoenix-theory The most successful individuals are not the ones who feel so badly that they cry themselves into fitness...it's the ones who…

I love Optimum Nutrition Dymatize in almost every flavour...right now, enjoying the "Cookies and Cream". Lactose free, and 25 g of protein per scoop.

...you get up, eat a banana and some yogurt, strap on your running shoes, and hit the pavement for 5 miles...and you don't die.

For me, there's nothing like the *healthier* version of the old school Portuguese omelette my mom makes: 2 egg whites 1 whole egg splash of water 3 thin slices of chourico 1/4 cup diced onion (green or white, we're not picky) salt pepper My favourite of all time.

It sounds really loosey-goosey, but I just ballpark it. I figure I'd rather overestimate than underestimate; so if I have a little less than half a serving, I just say I had half.

You're just not eating enough protein...or food in general, for that matter. Some things that work for me (as an example): - protein at every meal (this could be a small portion, like some cheese or yogurt, or even a few slices of smoked turkey or chicken) - eat every 2-3 hours (you will keep your metabolism running evenly…

This is exactly how I've come to look at my weight loss journey. I tried a "diet", and it seemed like everything was "bad", or "too fatty" or a "carb". I eat what I feel like, and I make sure that I watch my portions. I work out enough that I create some wiggle room. "Cheating" is one of those terms that sets you up for…

I agree. It sounds tactless, but I think he meant well.

It is so very worth it. I found out that I have been buying the wrong size for YEARS. Only off by a half size, it has made a universe of difference in my running. Don't be afraid. They're friendly, and you will be so glad you did it.

From day to day (or morning to night), there are so many reasons we might "gain" or "lose" a pound (or a few). Did you drink enough water? Did you eat something salty? Did you exercise to "move around your fluids"? Were you constipated? Are you dehydrated? The bottom line is that to gain a full pound, you must consume 3500…

Dear God! This is amazing!!!

I am dying on the floor right now. That's perfect!

I love key lime and cherry!!!

This stuff is too good. The only thing I always hated about fat free yogurt was the fact that it was runny. I like my yogurt so thick you can stand a spoon upright in it. I used to have to save that for "special treats" with Liberte Mediterranee (in many flavours, but with MANY calories). Now, I can have as much as I like…

I can see huge changes here. You're less likely to see it because it's what you carry all the time. You are trimmer and tighter in the bum. Don't worry. You will see it soon!

I have always been buxom...watching them go down a little makes things so much easier! If I get to the point where I only have to wear one sports bra to work out, I will be cheering!

I'm in. I have the DVD all ready to go...just finding a time to commit to it.

I'm down 6 lbs in two weeks, and to me, that seems amazing. I do find that adding a few more starches helps. I eat sweet potatoes and chickpeas, and it doesn't seem to affect anything. Interestingly enough, neither does a cupcake here and there...

My tits got smaller, and that's a win for me!

I am in week 2 of the cruise phase. I found that it took me a little while to get into the swing of it after the attack phase, but I have struck a groove, and things are feeling good! I guess it was tricky with last week being the week leading up to my period...lots of cravings and a few cheats. I am clean and being good…

Oh yes. Insanity is wonderful for back fat AND cellulite! The food piece is also critical here. Bad food goes to my back as well as thighs, and I find that even a week of eating super clean makes a huge difference combined with running and Insanity...Get your Turbo on, too. All that punching is incredible for the back!

At 28 years old, I hit 200 pounds at the very end of my pregnancy; and after that, I was 180 lbs. I started working it off!
