Thank you!

Thanks for that! I really enjoy cooking (which is obvious in my figure haha) so that's not really a bother. I'm really glad to hear you had success, and I'll be sure to keep calories counting in the back of my mind. I think I'll end up combining the two, really. Did you follow the exercise program?

In my local high school, seniors can invite already graduated students, as we have mixed grade classes and we all get rather close  thanks honkytonks85, I think I will start using some of their recipes to mix up my diet I was just looking for other people who have used their recipes with results  I have been…

I don't really care about the scales because I'm getting results everywhere else - I think I might be allergic to something. It's either gluten or lactose, but my cousin actually has Crohn's disease so I'm a little concerned. Will start making use of a food scale more regularly, and wait for the scales to catch up!

To put it into perspective: over the last three days, the scales have not fluctuated a single gram. Even though I ate less on one day and more on the other, and my water intake varied, I didn't lose or gain a single gram. I don't eat all the calories back because I like to assume it's a tiny bit inaccurate, and don't want…

I haven't set my stride strength in fitbit but never eat the calories back they allocate. I haven't been weighing my food, just estimating with metric measurements like a cup and so on because it's a hassle weighing it at family meals, rather than scooping out a cup. I'm going to be more cautious of that, as well as just…

I use a fitbit to log my calorie burns, and I try to be as accurate as I can. What can I do to be more accurate with calorie logging? I log my serving sizes. But I am fitting into smaller sized clothes and people have been commenting on my weight loss. I'm definitely smaller physically, but not mass wise.

I personally don't think I've gained muscle, but I have been doing cardio. I tried switching up my calories after about two months of 1200, and started eating at 1500. The scales did a massive drop - 8 pounds, but soon went back to 174. I started a calorie plan from…

My mother had lap band surgery and is doing great! Lost lots of weight, kept it off and doing it slowly and healthily! My uncle, who was very very large, had a gastric by-pass and lost a lot of weight very very fast. The lap band seems to replicate more natural results (slower weight loss, gradual, not all at once)…

Add me too, needing all the motivation I can get as the weight loss has slowed!

All the replies have been really helpful! I'm going to start taking measurements and ONLY EVER weigh myself before eating. I wont religiously weigh myself either just go by how I feel. Thanks so much for all the help!
