Same here! I will add you. Good to help stay motivated to see others activities.

Whatever works for you. But I prefer to weigh at around the same time every morning, and then track in MFP. It allows you to look back over the course of the year, and see trends, impacts of vacations, seasonal variations, etc.

I weigh daily at the same time in the morning, or as close as I can manage. I find its a great way to add granularity to the long term tracking, and it provides a convenient way to keep up the habit of logging into MFP daily.

Longtime FitBit One user, and now Charge HR! Happy to join the group, and find new friends to be supportive.

I'm on a 100+ day streak, so consider yourself added Mrs Vader!! I could use the support too though, because my activity and diet have gone to hell since before Halloween, even though I have been checking in every day.

Happy New Year everyone!! Adding On-Fit-Cookie, and looking for the inspiration and support of the folks on MFP for 2016. New year, new challenges, lets do this together! Please feel free to add me

It was really nice in Houston today, so I managed to take about 30 mins during lunch, and walk for about 1.4 miles. I'll take what i can get lately!!

Oh good points here!! Yes, 5 of the other 7 days were under the calorie goal. But I BLEW AWAY my daily limit for Sunday, so I think I probably came close to being net zero for the week.

Good tip!! Thanks TnZMom....I will give that a try

Great thread! I also love my oatmeal, though I didn't always. My routine consists of Quaker Reduced Sugar instant oatmeal during the week. Its a quick breakfast, and fills me up until lunch when I have some fruit with it, or maybe a mid-AM banana. Each packet is 120 calories. Then on the weekends, I LOVE to take the time…

I will have to double check the itinerary, but I believe our stops are Jamacia, Cayman, and Cozumel. 7 days. One year we did a cruise, and one of the stops was Belize! It was a neat experience seeing the country there.....felt very 3rd world.

Yup, fully aware a bit of this is water weight. That being the case, the rate will level off eventually as I get closer to my goals. But I have the comfort knowing that this works, and some minor lifestyle changes can really lead to positive results initally. The bigger results will need more hard work and determination,…

Thank you thank you B) I have a big challenge ahead in 1 week......cruise vacation. My goal is to not gain any weight. I won't track meals, but I will watch portion sizes, and I will do a ton of walking every day, and try to fit in a little exercise along the way too.

Great job!!! Very inspirational!! B)

I've been very motivated to get out and walk at least 2-3 times a week, and work out at least once but hopefully twice, which is far beyond what I had been doing for quite some time. I find it totally therapeutic to put on some good music, my HRM, FitBit, and rack up those steps! The extra motivation comes from this site,…

I also want to see my actual weight loss reflected appropriately, not a big fat zero. I'm proud of the 6 lbs I've lost in the last couple weeks, and I want to see it on my profile darnit! I tried what CyberTone suggested, but for some reason when you click on "Tickers" under apps, it just takes you to the main home profile…

New here too, and looking for the support and encouragement of the members here. Please feel free to add me :)

Thanks!! I am encouraged by the sense of community here. I was a longtime member of Calorie King, so the active forums plus the deep food database really impresses me!
