I weight daily usually, helps me stay on track, and I have been able to notice and change a few things in my diet. I do not get hung up on the numbers, if it goes up slightly I go back to look at what I did yesterday and see if I did anything wrong, (like not drink enough water) and change it accordingly.

So sorry to hear about your losses. I agree that MFP is great, logging everything is key, I have lost more weight with MFP than I have with diets in the past. Lots of people here will help motivate you. Good luck on your journey

I suffer with anxiety, which if not sorted slips into depression, losing weight and exercising has definitely helped me, with anxiety I go for a run instead of reaching for the chocolate and its help. Good luck

Yes I have tried many diets and all result in putting weight back on, I found this a lot easier as I do not see it as a diet, its a lifestyle change as for me no foods are off limits, as long as I keep within my calories. Good luck

Its my daughter who is my motivation, she is 7 and someone in her class said your mum's fat, I think that was the final kick up the bum I needed.

I lost 5 lbs the first week, then 2 lbs for a few weeks now 1-2 lbs a week. I always used to be obsessed with the scales, but now do once a week and this is the only way I have been able to lose weight and keep it off. Well done and keep it up.

I have been on slim fast too, I did lose the weight, but after stopping it went back on and a few more pounds too.

Thanks again for the replies. I feel dizzy all the time, not so dizzy that I need to hold on to something, but just a slight dizzy feeling constantly for the past 3/4 days. Not had blood pressure checked for a while, I was going to see what a few days on a higher calories would do, then if no better by end of the week go…
