Hi , been a member for a whole but my first post
Basicaly mum 23 years old to 3 lovely kids , I weigh 13st & 5.7"
Started with slim fast 4 days ago !
Typical day -
Warm lemon water in the morning then a slim fast shake which fills me up for a good few hours , then around 12.30 -1pm I'll have my 2nd shake which again does me untill 4.30 - 5pm where I'll make a steak with fresh cuecumber , tomatoes , Basicaly a large side salad with my meat and I've been doing that for the last 4 days , also if I feel I'm short on the calories I'll have a Greek yogurt with fresh fruit or lemon water
Exercise wise , I'm on the wii fit every 2nd or 3rd day , I've just got a davina pedal exerciser which I'll be doing when ever I can .
Now I know slim fast isn't the healthiest option , I'm just hoping for a kick start , I know all about healthy eating my portions have just always been on the larger side !
Any tips , tricks && advice would be great
Also experiences with slim fast & 1 meal a day

I suggest adding a protein, vegetable/fruit snack at say 10 and 2. Your body needs protein, fiber, and it will surprise y o u how much better you think and feel. I usually have hummus and carrots or cucumbers, Apple with peanut butter or cheese, egg white frittata that I make and freeze in 1/2c portions ready for snacks, etc. A 2 to 4 oz amount of protein with 1 cup of vegetable s or fruits with some water gets me to the next meal without being overly hungry, which is a setup for overeating for me. This is also going to give you variety so you don't get bored with the protein shakes. Good luck!0

8 or 9 years ago I lost a lot of weight on slim fast to get ready for the beach. The problem was after my vacation I stopped using it and all the weight came back. And I'm not sure but I think I was worse off than I was to begin with because I lost muscle as well.0

Why not skip the slimfast and make fruit smoothies instead. You can get tons of vitamins and energy from a single serving of a mixed fruit smoothie with greek yogurt and some spinach thrown in for good luck.0

Yea I heard you can gain what you loose && a lot more that's why I just want it for a quick jump start , would hate to be bigger than I am now !

I have been on slim fast too, I did lose the weight, but after stopping it went back on and a few more pounds too.0

I drink them almost every weekday morning and love them. It's quick and convenient. I have thought about doing it twice a day but dismissed the idea. I need to learn how to eat real food in normal portions and be aware of serving sizes and calories. Slimfast would just make it too simple setting me up for failure when I go back to eating normal lunches again.0
