  • We too are in the middle of a heat wave so sleep has been very difficult, even with air conditioner on full and fans throughout the house. Last night I slept on the living room floor (in my underwear) since the hardwood felt cool on the skin. I definitely feel sleep deprived in the heat! I can't count the crunches…
  • My biceps are definitely benefiting but I don't see any difference in my triceps, they actually look floppier now that I can form a biceps muscle. HELP!! what am I doing wrong? and those triceps dips confuse me - I am bending my arms but also lowering my *kitten* so I am not sure what part is getting the workout!

  • Have a great trip Maalea! I did the West Coast Trail (Vancouver Island) years ago and it is still one of my most talked about trips (and I've been to France, Germany, Italy, NWT and parts of US & Canada). there is something amazing about pushing yourself to your limits each and every day and natures mercy and succeeding…
  • I LOVE Zoolander!! It's hilarious to quote in conversations too, I am amazed how many people join in and start referencing it. also love any Monty Python. HATED!! any of "The Scary movies" so lame and bad puns.
  • Happiest Day of my life....also a good time to clear out stuff that is terribly out of style and old. I love the extra space in my closet and no more yoyo-ing ...it's size 8 or NAKED! no other options available.
  • I did cardio 2 yesterday and will do work out 6 today...I just didn't think I could handle it last night but I didn't want to do nothing at all. Good job sticking with it Golden...I think we lost most of the group though :frown:
  • I tried something new yesterday and LOVED it!! Thought I would share with the rest of you. it's an app called "Zombies, Run" it is a running app that gets you involved with a story while you are out walking, jogging and eventually running. It apparently has been out for a year or two but I just stumbled across it…

  • I switched out my weights for this program as well and I am very glad I did. At first my arms were really sore and my shoulders seemed to burn but now I am amazed that when I pick up my 3 lbs weights they feel like nothing. I use 10 lbs for the heavy lifting parts and 5 or 8 lbs for all the other stuff. :drinker:
  • I HATE the breakfast challenge - I have NEVER got a reward for this challenge yet. :grumble: Here is my breakfast each and every day...boring but reliable  Ingredients: - Maxwell House Dark Roast fine grind coffee grounds - Hot water calories: - Serving Size: 12 fl oz, Calories: 5, Fat: 0g, Carbs: 0g, Protein: 0g…
  • I'm currently doing the Body Revolution. The workouts are the same length (approx. 30 min) and follow the same format 3 min strength, 2 min cardio & 1 min abs over 90 days. The nice thing about these dvds is that you rotate through more dvds in three phases. I just finished the first week of phase 2 (workout 5 & 6 and…
  • I have fallen asleep early every day this week....phase 2 is pooping me out. I can't wait until rest day on Sunday:yawn:
  • Yikes, that must of been a nasty fall. Take it easy and get better PJGreen!:flowerforyou: Sorry to hear you are leaving Kelsey but I totally understand how you are feeling. Hopefully we are now finally at a point where the people remaining truly want to be apart of the game and stay motivated. Good luck and best wishes for…

  • I worked my butt off last week due to my unfortunate weight gain but I am happy to report that with Jillians support (and her awesome workouts) I lost 1.2 lbs this week  I really enjoy the new moves in these workouts but am really sick of the cardio. I didn't do it on Saturday as I had to cut/rake the lawn and that…
  • I eat this everyday for lunch....Absolute favourite
  • LOL...I love how you found the "loop hole" so quickly :drinker: CHEERS!! If I reward myself on a weekly basis I think I would go broke. I like the goal meeting rewards instead so I force myself to work harder to get it! What HRM are you getting? I have been researching the Polar brands as that is what most people have…
  • Did cardio 1 again...forgot I was going to try something new. I'm still sore from WO#4 yesterday:smile:
  • Just follow your doctors order and rest it well, by your next visit he might give you the go ahead  You still have lots of time between now and your holiday and hopefully you heal quickly.:flowerforyou:

Teenagers go downstairs and do homework or use the computer my boyfriend usually offers to work outside or use the computer upstairs and my little guy plays on floor where I am working out. My house is all boys so I really don't want…
