Hello all!
-
I try to be! I do think it's important.

I started my weight loss journey with this one and now I'm doing her Body Revolution ones. NMTZ is a solid circuit training workout.

The herbs, red onion, and gorgonzola I put into my salads make them rock.

Eating mostly foods with not a lot of processing or chemicals.

Hello! My mother @Ravishing4e, is in a similar situation, new to MFP, trying to make healthy changes, and struggling. I suggest that you add her on MFP!

Old Navy and Hanes have some good basic options that aren't too expensive while you are losing and your sizes become smaller. I understand not wanting to invest major coin in transitional clothes that are only going to be too big for you as you get closer to your goal.

I am thinking of going back to Phase 2 to keep things interesting. I have never done any of the 3 cardio workouts but I'm curious to see what they're like.

When I was without JMBR for a couple of weeks, I did all her other workouts. The only thing is I don't get bored with JMBR because of the number of workouts & the large class size...anyway, I usually do two together (7&8, 9&10, 11&12) and then on a following day I might do the one before. I usually sweat more and faster…

Congratulations, you look fantastic!

Good stuff! Keep it up, it's inspiring.

I see this in people I love and it's heartbreaking. Once I started seeing myself doing the same thing, that was a big motivator to change. I don't want to live like that.

I jumped ahead. I ended up going backwards to get a bit more practice of the foundational stuff in her earlier WOs. Then I'd try them again. I did all 12. Right now I'm working on 9 and 10. I like to jump around. There is always an "UP" button, as she likes to say. I just try to do 2 a day, it doesn't matter if I do 1 and…

I wasn't able to do lots of the plyometric stuff in a sustained way when I started, now I am. My entire body is a lot more toned and leaned out since I started JMBR.

I want one but I'm planning on upgrading my phone so want to wait until I do that...then invest in a Fitbit, Jawbone, or something comparable. I think Apple is coming out with one called iWatch soon. I'll probably wait, but I've been wanting one too! Let us know what you decide.

Great job! Keep it up!

That's awesome Marjorie! I took a hiatus from JMBR when they took it down from YouTube :( but I've been doing an hour of other JM WOs this past week and a half. I finally ponied up and bought the DVDs from Amazon yesterday so I should be continuing JMBR tomorrow. Her "Killer Buns & Thighs" levels 2 & 3 is a lot like some…

Banana Nut or Cinnamon Cheerios (1 serving) with almond milk, coffee with almond milk (2-3 cups), no sweetener. A multivitamin. My breakfast is usually sparse because I like to indulge more later in the day.

Happy birthday!

If you take any medication (antidepressants, mood stabilizers, birth control, antihistamines, etc.) try to get on weight neutral substitutions. I stopped certain medications and increased others when I was looking to boost my metabolism. The rest is about mindfulness, focus, and hard work. Good luck OP!

Lately I have a Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt in any flavor. It's only 80 calories, has 12 grams of protein, and coats the stomach. If I need to chew, I follow with a Red & Delicious apple @ 52 calories.

I don't know but there's sugar in the recipe for sure! I had some great sweet & sour Thai calamari this week at a restaurant but thankfully I didn' t go over! The calamari was steamed, in sweet and sour Thai peanut sauce. There was cilantro in the recipe and a bit of lime. Very good, but it was also very sweet.

Welcome and good luck!!
