It was the same for me. I lost almost 12 pounds in the first week, then about 5 pounds per week for the next few weeks. Currently, I'm losing at about 1-2 pounds per week and sometimes gaining a couple depending on how well I sleep and my cortisol levels. Give it a few more days, hit your percentages, and see if you level…

I volunteer for the TriAggieland sprint triathlon every year, and I can assure you that with your times, you will not be last. Just have fun with it and please let us know how you did! I'm currently training so I can participate next year instead of just helping out on the course.

There are some great recipes on your site! Gotta make a trip to the store so I can try out your waffles...I miss them so much!

Bad? That's for you to decide. Read "Grain Brain" by Dr. Pearlmutter.

Just get an ice cream maker! You can experiment with all sorts of flavors and, since you're like me and will eat it all anyway, you won't have to worry about storing it!

Big calves here! Most people in the gym would kill to have the size and definition I have. But guess what? We gentically have different muscle attachment points that naturally lend to larger calves.

This! I purchased a very low carb (2 grams) whey protein powder and make a heavy whipping cream shake. I have found that if you mix one scoop with 4 ounces of water and then add the pint of HWC, there is no clumping. Without the little bit of water you make Whipped Cream that you have to eat with a spoon just from mixing…

Starting the program this evening. Last time I ran was 20 years ago when I played baseball. Always hated running, so I'm hoping I can find the motivation and inner strength to push through to the end.

I have had a membership to gold's and I like it. I'm just now getting back to fitness after 15 years of slacking off, and I'm a member at PF. For the price and no commitment, I'll be staying at PF until I outgrow it. Then it's back to Gold's.

If you're doing this to induce nutritional ketosis and change your eating lifestyle, fine. Be sure to cut the rice and beans too. If it's just to shed a few pounds for a contest, what's the point? Search for the keto groups. You'll find no support in the general forums.

There's a certain "Look" that attracts us to someone, but personality wins the day. That being said, though, you can't motorboat a personality!

That looks like a very good workout as well! A long time ago I would start at 85% of max and lift 10 reps or until failure, add 10 pounds, repeat until I could only push one rep. Then start removing 10 pounds until I could do 10 reps again. I saw tremendous gains, but the workout lasted forever! I was seeing about the same…

I have BPC every morning. It's so delicious I would drink it if I weren't on keto!
-
I love BPC, but instead of coconut oil I just use MCT oil. That being said, coconut oil gives a nice flavor to saute vegetables.

It's for gluten intolerance. Another good book to read is "Grain Brain" by Dr. Perlmutter. There is a ton of info on not just Celiac but gluten sensitivity in general. www.drperlmutter.com Also, watch out for foods you wouldn't normally think contain gluten.

OMGOSH! Let's hope there's never an ad for spoons!
