Ranch dressing is also my favorite! Here's how I make a lo cal version. I take fat free or low fat yogurt & mix it with a packet of the dry Ranch dressing seasoning. It's creamy, lo fat, lo cal, & yummy.

Level 1 day 5 here....I'll be on your team!! So far I've noticed my endurance & strength improving, I thought I was going to die for the first two days,lol. I've read a lot about the Shred stating that the real noticeable results show up in weeks 3 & 4. Let's keep it up, we can do this!!

I'm also on 1400 calories a day. I am on day 5 of Jillian's 30 Day Shred & I don't eat back my exercise calories. I don't know if this is good advice or not, but I've already lost a couple of lbs. & can tell that I am building muscle. Jillian is kicking my butt!

When you visit Disney World you will be doing soooo much walking that you won't have to worry about those extra calories. My guess is that you'll probably be doing some swimming too! Don't stress about it, go & enjoy your vacation.

Personally, I think these are probably the types of friends who would love to sabotage your weight loss efforts. I have a couple of friends like this....they'd be happier if I was still sitting around with them chowing down on mozzarella sticks and pie!

BRAVO!!!!! :happy: You sir, are an inspiration and proof that people can overcome their challenges! Your weight loss is a remarkable accomplishment. I do have one thought regarding your "dizziness." Perhaps you should look into Vestibular Therapy....in short it retrains your brain until you are no longer dizzy.

I think a lot of the posts here are dramatically over complicating this topic. If you don't want to feed yourself or your kids fast food, then do not patronize these establishments....simple as that! Check into the 5:2 fasting group on this forum. Basically, you eat your maintenance calories (the amount of calories needed to maintain your weight) 5 days a week.
