Just watch out, I've heard the princess is another castle... Kidding aside, keep up the great work!

I dig it!

Look up the Burgener warm up! Practice it each time for cleans and snatches....warms it all up and it breaks down each part of the movement and helps bring it together

Sounds excellent! What you might think about (and might make you feel better) is considering how your break things up. Like do the HSPUs in a couple sets or doing the K2E in several sets...and just figuring out how many sets or how big a set you'd be up to doing...you also want ot have it be something that'll have you back…

I dunno, seems like it could be a fairly fun WoD Oh, and the event for folks in the area https://www.facebook.com/events/330775873656082/

Haven't been up there, but if you are looking for boxes there is map.crossfit.com wish I'd put that were people would find it...always hated how it is just listed

Definitely a fan of her...there was a thread that was started once that included several of her posts

I shirt ditch at my CrossFit box...I've gotten some jokes cause I started doing it winter-ish months ('cept it was unreasonably warm). Although the jokes were in good humor and when the weather is warmer there are other folks that join in the shirt ditching!

Hmm...I'll consider it...

Welcome! And hey, we're a good cult ;P

I think it is more about the distance or duration, than the specific activity. CFE used to have a better explanation, but they modified it a bit http://www.crossfitendurance.com/faq

Gymboss is pretty quality....they also sell specific devices along with having an app. Both their standard GymBoss and the GymBossMax (more [and more advanced] programming options)

Go for comfortable, dress for the weather (or how warm it'll feel when you are working out)

Kipping definitely gets addicting...although I need to work on being more efficient with my kip. I might need to do some mobility work cause I have a tendency towards bad knots in my back especially right by my shoulder blades...and I think those might be starting to limit mobility. Once again, way to rock on getting…

Seems like you already have answers, but I just came across this (I think I'd seen it in the past also) http://crossfitoneworld.typepad.com/crossfit_one_world/2012/04/avoiding-torn-hands.html

Some folks find taping helps. I haven't had rips so far (other than I lost focus while box jumping too tall of a box and smacked my hand on the side...) which might come from never using chalk...I'm more interested in getting some wrist bands or something that I could just use to wipe my hands than chalking. Heck I don't…

Work on training for strength. See about learning deadlifts, squats, and body weight exercises. Start eating more...down the road you might end up trying bulking and then cutting (losing fat that might have come with muscle). Don't worry about fat, just focus on gaining muscle...plus in general consider height weight it…

Way to rock LorinaLynn! That's awesome! Great time and WINNING!!! =D ^____________________^

:) as Rae said, people with eating disorders don't get that kind of muscle (heck they lose normal muscle and bone density)
-
It might not be in your genetics, but after the summer you can keep trying...doesn't hurt adding more muscle! You're already hot so anything further is bonus!
-
I dig this thread title and the way it has gone! (Other than people trolling it)

Bump, I'm sure I could use this for travel! (If I don't/can't find a box or just would rather try solo or something)
-
Just keep working at it. He might not have taking much time to consider the different starting point and progressions between guys and girls. Keep working hard!
-
I haven't checked it out, but I'm not too far from there. I'm in Northern Virginia, so perhaps we'll bump into each other at some point!
-
Awesome work folks! Feel slow for just now seeing/realizing this thread had gotten started Oh, I had one today! New and improved CFT (CrossFit Total) Keep up the great work everyone!
