  • So today I did L2D4. It was super difficult because of the mental block I had. I'm getting to the point where I don't have the enthusiasm any more. This is what happened last time and I quit in level 2. I think because level 1 was moderately easy for me. Some moves were killer but overall I could get through it smiling.…
  • I did L2D3 yesterday and forgot to post. Today I did Pilates. I find it relaxes me. Seriously in just the 3 times I've done level 2 I've noticed significant improvement. The first time I did it it was almost impossible. Now I still get super tired but I can push through. There's a light at the end of the tunnel.
  • I think cardio has just gotten a really bad rep. Any time anyone ever thinks of cardio it's of weight loss. But cardio is really, really, really good for your heart (and a bunch of other things). In a way that strength training, despite what anyone says, simply can't be. Yes, strength training can have cardiovascular…
  • And yes, I hate the reverse discrimination that's going on with skinny women. Very few people seem to get that it's just as bad as shaming overweight women.
  • I totally agree with you. There's a lot of sugar coating going on because no one wants to step on someone else's toes and get accused of discrimination or shaming. My opinion is that no, you shouldn't hate your body. But you shouldn't be complacent either. If you're not healthy then try to get healthy. Eat better and…
  • @MimGSR how in the world did you add more exercises at the end? Do you just happen to like torture? Respect!
  • Day 1 L2 today! So happy I made it to level 2!! But oh my gosh. She just ramps up the intensity. Those walking pushups right at the beginning? I died. I just planked with Anita the whole time. And even that was exhausting. And those plank hop/jump things. Don't even get me started. For the first time ever I paused in the…
  • I just did day 1 of level 2 today. The difference between level 1 and 2 is insane. By the end of level 1 it was pretty easy for me. It had its hard parts but overall it was enjoyable. Level 2 is death. I have 9 more chances to master this though. That's how I view it.
  • I finished day 8 today. Today was the first day I really, really wanted to skip. But I just keep going. I'm not allowing myself to get sidetracked. I hate those bloody anterior raises with the side lunge. Those things are hard!!! Even after all this time I can't keep up with Anita. That and the push ups. I'm still doing…
  • I really wanted to do Athlean X but when I found out he's charging $97 for his program that was a big NO. YouTube suits me just fine, thank you.

  • You look amazing!!! Great job.
  • I've just finished day 7 of level 1. I'm SO tired! My arms feel like ... I don't even have words. I'm starting to lose motivation but I need to make it through the last 3 days. Glad to find people doing the same thing.
  • Today is the 26th! Just in time for the first weigh-in!! Please add me. I've never tried groups that much before but I'd love to start. Clearly doing it on my own isn't doing that much for me.
  • I totally understand where you're coming from. I've been on this rollercoaster ride for a while now. I'm coming back for my 3rd time now. I hope everything goes well for the both of us!! At least we never stop trying.
  • I do see a difference in your butt and thighs! How often do you do Pilates? I want to start it but at the same time, I want to lose weight and Pilates really isn't a major calorie burner. I'm still trying to figure out that balance between cardio and resistance training and stuff.
  • There are tons of home workout videos on YouTube by channels like Fitness Blender and BeFit and there are various levels so you'd definitely find beginner stuff there. And it's free!
  • Six
  • This only works if you're absolutely dilligent about your logging. I'm not, and I know I'm not, so I need that once a week weigh-in to confirm if I'm on the right track. But if this works for you, then great. I go crazy if I don't weigh in. Even waiting that once a week is sometimes difficult.
  • Turbo Jam!! I was wiped out by the first 10 mins though. This is my first day back in a while. But I hung in there and finished strong. That's all that matters.
  • DO NOT DO IT EVERY DAY!! Sorry for screaming but seriously people don't know this. It was never meant to be done every day. Jillian Michaels said it was meant to be done 3-4 days a week. It's the marketing that made it sound like it's meant for every day because, duh, get shredded in 30 days is a great marketing line.…
  • Okay, I tried resisting the temptation but I have to ask. How did your tattoo jump to the other leg?? Are they temporary?
  • I'm personally not a fan of short 10 min workouts or workouts that target only one specific part of your body. I'd have to go with BeFit. FitnessBlender is effective but I find it super boring because there's no music and no chatty instructor. That's just me. I also love Denise Austin's vidoes on YouTube. I'm one of the…
  • I've always been a member of the itty bitty titty committee. Then I gained weight and I got some pretty awesome breasts. Which were the first things to go when I started losing. And I haven't even lost that much already. My body just loves to store fat in my hip area. Nothing I can do about it. I feel your…
  • I don't know how Maybe I'm Amazed fits in with the one before it but oh well. Maybe This Time - Cabaret
  • After. I wouldn't exercise too soon after eating and if I wait too long I'll probably lose my enthusiasm and/or get caught up in other things. Plus it definitely gets me up and going, knowing that I can't eat or shower until I get that workout in. Otherwise I'd probably laze around all morning.
  • You look so amazing! It's crazy to believe that you've changed so much in just one year. (Or 363 days) :D Thank you so much for posting your pictures here. You really are an inspiration to the rest of us.
  • Veronica Mars!! I loved that show almost obsessively. At least we got a movie though.
  • I can't even laugh. That's a better phone than I currently have. Haha, yeah, kids always have better phones than their parents. So did I, and still do.
  • Ooh, lucky you! I'm jealous. :) Haha, I prefer the droid email app cause Windows phones don't have a Gmail app as far as I know. Google is really trying hard to pretend Windows phones do not exist.
  • I have never understood how people carry those things around. I wouldn't even call it a phone. It's a tablet with call and text capabilities. (Or a phablet. Haha, I learnt that just today.) That thing is huge! I'd be afraid to pull it out in public.
