Kat....so glad you wrote back and updated us. Sounds to me like this story will have a happy ending!! Kudos to you!!
-
That tells you that you can increase your calories and start losing again.
-
Now that's a fact! I've recently gone up a few pounds, but my measurements are still going down and my new size 2 shorts are loose!!! They weren't loose when I bought them a month ago!
-
Congrats on a job well done. I understand your frustration. But when you increase your workouts you need to eat more. MFP has a calorie deficit already set for you, it is important to eat back those exercise calories. When you properly fuel your body it run more efficiently, metabolize and burn the fat.

Sadly, we can't control that. But we can control what we eat.
-
And I resized it larger and it's still the same size. :(

Photobucket is driving me insane, I added wording onto it yesterday and it only show today. Now the picture is so small that when I enlarge it's blurry. Anyone know of any other sites we can use to do this?

upload them to Photobucket, the copy the image code into the message box, but make sure to change the upper case IMG to lower case img.

I need reading glasses, thought the title was "Michael Berry from Dr Oz" and I kept thinking what does Michael Berry have to with Dr Oz??? :blushing:
-
I'm at this for year and still have belly fat...patience my dear!! And a lot of exercising! ;)
-
That depends on who is making it. I can cook a far better pasta dish than they can and a healthier one! ;) But in all seriousness, scan your choices and try to make the healthiest one you can. Life is meant to be enjoyed, don't stress to much over it. Go out, enjoy and make good choices and if they aren't so good, you get…

Congratulations!!! You look terrific!!

It is the one thing I said I wouldn't give up, I have cut back and sadly it seems I can no longer drink wine (seems to tear my stomach up now) but my main drink is the Skinny Margarita that was posted on these forums.

I think that is the hardest part of the journey, changing the way we think. Giving ourselves credit for our accomplishments instead of beating ourselves up. I suppose it is all part of the process. You look terrific, btw!!

ughhh sorry for the repost, I thought I fixed the issue w/ the wording on the photo....oh well.
-
What a bummer I labeled the photo and it doesn't show. Anyhow my before photo I am at 168lbs it was taken 12/2010 My after (really during) photo was taken yesterday, I currently weigh 123 lbs.
-
As long as you minimum is netting your BMR you should be ok, just remember we don't need to starve to succeed at this!
-
This really would be so much easier and beneficial to you if you opened up your diary.
-
If you want it, then have it. I don't believe in deprivation, imho it leads to cravings and binging. Just work it into your daily calorie goal. Exercise more if necessary.
-
Here's what matters..... a) health....are you healthier now than before? b) you........are you liking the way you look? Is boyfriend noticing other guys looking at you now?Could he be feeling insecure? Maybe he thinks you're getting "too thin" and is concerned for you health? But the truth still is it doesnt matter what…
-
Ok, there's the difference. With MFP you have to eat back those exercise calories, that's why it's added to base goal.
-
Prunes!!!! Never thought I'd see the day when I'd say it but I love 'em!!! And avocados!!!
-
There's nothing anyone can do to motivate you. Inspire you, yes.....support you, yes.....give advice, yes. But motivation comes from within. How bad do you want this? Badly enough to make some lifestyle changes? Dig deep, it's not easy, but it will be worth it.
-
I don't know about scooby, do they say to eat back excersize calories?? MFP is expecting you to eat those back. You start w/ 1200 as do I, but the more you exercise the more you eat. MFP has already given you a calorie deficit.
-
Are you getting enough protein?? You really should have your diary open so people can better advise you.
-
Please remember Google is your friend! Here's some interesting info I found..... http://www.diabetesdaily.com/voices/2012/03/5-healthy-and-delicious-alternatives-to-diet-soda/

I think it's important to listen to your body. If that is what you feel you should do, then do it.

Life is a journey....just saying.
