A month supply comes out to about $5 a day, about the price most spend for a cup of coffee. I have never felt better!

I have changed that goal a few times.....originally it was 105. I did get as low as 119 and since then that scale has moved up. Officially I have it set as 122, I am currently 139 however I have learned that number is meaningless. My goals have changed to toning up, lifiting heavier and running further.

My summer break starts 6/7.....can't wait to get back to New Rules!!

Welcome new ladies!! I highly recommend you eat clean!! I created this group before I returned to full time work, so I apologize for not being here much. Please feel free to friend to send me a friend request, but be sure to mention you saw me here!!

If you tell yourself you will be successful then you will be. Never give up.

Nearly 3 years ago, at the age of 43 I started running and used the Couch to 5K app. It too me longer than the 9 weeks to complete it. But I am now training for a Half Marathon. Get fitted for running shoes and get going!!
-
I am a bit confused about how it syncs though....I just synced my sleep and it added 154 calories burned to my excercise but MFP seems to have taken it off instead of adding it on to my total.
-
Stop dieting and start changing the way you eat. MFP intends for you to log all your movement, that inclused cooking, cleaning etc. Stop being annoyed and start living again! Eat!!!
-
Good lawd.....I'm sorry to hear that. I am 45 and 5"2" and rarely eat less than 2000 calories a day. I was miserable eating 1200 calories. Your body is a machine and in order for it to run properly and metabolize you need to fuel it properly.
-
Stop looking and start doing!!! There will always be an excuse to not get on track. Push yourself when you must.
-
So sorry to heat that your world was turned upside down. But please know, no matter what, you do have control over what you eat and how you treat yourself. Start by making one healthy and positive change, like logging every day everything you eat. Then from there, start exercising, even if it's just a short walk and log…
-
Oh my, 1200 is ridiculously low!!! I am 5'2" and could never live on that. Your body is machine and must be fueled properly. My diary is open, feel free to look at it. You will see that I normally eat 1800-2000 calories a day!
-
Depends upon what you are eating, some of you already are....http://www.livescience.com/36292-red-food-dye-bugs-cochineal-carmine.html

When I don't drink enough water I feel extreme fatigue as well. Try drinking more water while you are menstruating. It's worth a try! ;)
-
You should be counting everything you eat and drink.
-
Did you get fitted for running shoes?
-
Yes!!!
-
Yes...MFP's calorie goals are set very low. You should be logging all additonal movement.....gardening, housecleaning, etc.
-
I'm 45, workout at home and no longer care what that scale says!! I look good, feel better and eat far healthier than I ever have!!
-
I'm a snob too. Can't help but wrinkle up my nose when someone eats fast food or a store bought packaged meal in front of me.
-
I do that all the time but with the Stevia Lemonade mix and with a shot of Coconut rum. ;)
-
So glad you figured it, holding others accountable is never the way to go. This journey is personal and you must always hold yourself accountable. Congrats!
-
MFP is a bit stingy in their calorie goals, bump up your activity level.
-
Wow...do you really want to eat at only 1200 calorie??? I'd be miserable. Not to mention you are depriving your body eating at such a low goal! I'm 45, 5'2" and I eat nearly 2,000 calories daily. Please read up on TDEE and BMR, check out the groups like Eat More To Weigh Less and Feed The Machine. I personally could not…
-
I would be miserable at such a low calorie goal. Check out the group Eat More to Weigh Less and learn about BMR and TDEE.
-
You look fantastic!! Only 1800? I'm a bit surprised you eat so low. I eat that I am 5'2" and a 45 yr old female. Way to go, wayt o stick with it!!! I'm only pounds away from my goal and feel I will never get there, bit that's okay too. I'm weight training to tone up and am very pleased at my progress!!! Congrats to you!!!
-
It's one of the healthy fats. yes, it's a good alternative to cow's milk.
-
Are you eating enough? I no longer crave because I eat more than when I first started on MFP. Opening your diary would be helpful, otherwise all anyone can do is speculate.
-
I buy the Simple Truth Almond Milk....not ont he ingredients list. But it does contain other things that make me wonder what they are. :( This isn't easy, is it?
-
Eating is part of life. Make better choices. Eat more veggies and fruit. Give up garbage like fast food, processed foods and soda. Start there. I feel the urge to binge when I don't eat enough. Check out the group Eat More To Weigh Less and learn about TDEE and BMR.
