Are you eating to your calorie goal? And yes, that includes exercise calories. MFP has already created a deficit for you based on your activity level.

MFP already has a deficit figured in for you, based on the activity level you have chosen. It is important to eat back exercise calories so that you can properly fuel your body so that it will metabolize and burn the fat. But with a closed diary all anyone can do is throw guesses out to try and help you. Open up your diary…

Nice....was at Walmart the other day, paid $3.64 :(

wow, how condescending! If you're ok with the chemicals in them, great. I am not, I consider all the add'l stuff garbage, you don't like that, so sorry. But I'm shocked a "fitness trainer" is ok with processed food, interesting. Again, like I said, to each is own.

I live in Houston, and ran in 106° heat last summer. It is best to go in the morning (if not possible evening then). Make you sure you are well hydrated before you go and bring water with you. Listen to your body!

I'm not frightened...lol. Lawd I don't scare that easily! Truth is what I am most concerned with the GMO's. I want to eat my food the way God created it. Yes, those things are in our bodies, but too much of that is not healthy for anyone.

I think what mostly got my legs back into shape is running. I started with the Couch to 5K app just over a year ago and am currently using the Ease Into Bridge to 10K app. I also bike ride, do yoga (Rodney Yee DVD's and Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown) and also do 30 Day Shred by Jillian.
-
Thank you!!! I am quite proud of how they look again! Back in high school ZZ Tops "She's Got Legs" was very popular. An upper classman would sing it when I passed him in the hallway. I am so proud to have my legs back!

Oh and for the record my weight as recently gone up, but my measurements continue to go down. So PLEASE do not put a whole lot of stock into what the scale says!!

There are all kinds of websites that will help you match coupons to local store sales. I mentioned previously The Grocery Game, it is for a small fee but I have heard of free ones as well. Do your homework. You CAN do this!

"$1.99 for a gallon of skim milk" Wow.....where are you that milk is only $1.99?????????????

I'm not saying I have never slipped up and binged now and then. Goodness, we are all human!! But the trick is getting back to making good choices for yourself!! The best is yet to come!!!!

Take it one day at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say. Slowly make changes for the better, and make sure you are eating enough! Check out groups like Eat More to Weigh Less and Fuel The Machine. There are wonderful websites for recipes like Skinnytaste, Eating Well and Cooking Light.

"If" you can do this??? I'm going to start right there. How badly do you want to do this? Change the way you think! It doesn't matter what anyone says or feels. This is all YOU! Yes, you CAN do this. I am in a tight spot financially too!! Shop sales and combine with coupons! There is www.thegrocerygame.com to help with…

If you don't mind the garbage that's in them....sure then. To each his own.

I love Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown, and I also like Rodney Yee's dvd's as well. Currently have Core Cross Train and Ultimate Power Yoga. Going to look into purchasing Yogalosphy next!
-
Ok, you got my attention! What kind of workouts do you do? I alternate the following.... Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and Yoga Meltdown Rodney Yee's Core Cross Train Yoga and Ultimate Power Yoga I'm on my last week of "Ease into Bridge to 10K" Bike Riding

Have you read the ingredients in them?? Nuff said!
-
Thoughts??? None actually! Other than what are the side effects? What harm is going to bring to you?? There is nothing that is going to work as well as eating healthier and exercising! If you don't make it a lifestyle change it won't be permanent!

Helloitsdan....another question, this thread is very long so pardon me if it is repeat question. I followed your advice to determine my goal weight, thankfully I am very close to it. But what determines the level of exercise one is doing? I think I would be categorized under moderate exercise, so when I make that my…

Start with 30DS first, it is a fabulous workout. Take measurements and eat back those exercise calories!

An hour long full body deep-tissue massage!!!

I wouldn't know if it was true or not, however with running I can burn those calories in less time than walking. Time is of the essence somedays! ;)
-
You don't....each person is an individual and has to want to do this!
-
For starters, the scale isn't the end all!! I have gained a few pounds in the last few weeks but my measurements continue to go down!! Make healthy choices for yourself! Do as much as your own cooking as possible! Throw away those processed foods! Eat as clean as you possibly can and exercise!!!! Log every day everything…

I think as long as your moving, it doesn't matter all that much! Each person is different. I am graduate of the C25K plan, and am now using B210K, I burn far more calories running than walking. But again we are all different. If you are moving then kudos to you!!
-
Were you eating back your exercise calories? Please also remember the scale isn't the end all here. Take measurements! My weight has gone up a little but my measurements are still going down!
