It depends on what you can handle. I started out with 3lb weights and struggled! 7 months later I have worked myself up to 5 lb weights, if you have lighter ones I'd start there and see how it goes.

I love it!!! It's a great workout and now part of my regular routine!

I agree....I found when I deprived myself of something I wanted it only seemed to make back track. If there is something I want I work it into my calorie goal and will even get an extra workout in to so that I can have it. Moderation is the key to success!

Interesting....just Google it and read about my blood type. I'm AB-, and according to Dr. Dr I'm in trouble. Maybe someday I' can try this but right now while I am cooking for me and my family, DH does not like fish very much, this isn't going to work. "Type AB should avoid caffeine and alcohol, especially when you’re in…

Your weight is going to fluctuate from time to time. Are you taking measurements? My weight has gone up but my measurements have gone down. Don't sweat the small stuff.

The Shack.....it spoke to me and answered questions. It's a phenomenal read.

You should try to cut back on it until you don't need it anymore. Crystal Light really isn't any goof for you, I don't know anything about Mio but I'm sure it's the same.

It's usually recommended to drink half your body weight in ounces of water. So if you your 150lbs that is 75oz of water. I found that once I started drinking the water, the more my body craves it. I have a 52oz container that I carry everywhere with me and sip from it all day long. I now drink two of them in a day.

How old are you? (you don't have to be specific if you don't want to...you can just say 50's, 60's 40's--whatever, okay) I'm 44 How much have you lost? 41 lbs, but it fluctuates, I was up to 43 lbs lost but then my son's HS graduation came along and I gave myself permission to eat crap, bad idea!! ;) How long did it take…

Yep.....that's me!

Walking and swimming would be a good place to start. But if you are truly that concerned then see your doctor first. He can advise you far better than anyone on a public forum.

Love it!!!!!!

I absolutely refused to give up alcohol, an am nearly at my goal weight. Just work it into your daily calorie goal.
-
If it fits inside your daily calorie goal don't worry about it. Just make sure you are incorporating protein and fiber into your diet.

I used fat2fitradio.com for my daily calorie goal, I always make to eat at the very least netting my BMR. 1200 is too low for many people. This has to be sustainable. Use another calculator and adjust your goal. Edited to add, I am 5'2" and my calorie goal is 1705
