Thank you for inspiring us!!! Isn't it amazing how changing the way we eat changes everything??? Congratulations to you, you look fabulous!!!!
-
Most of my dinner's come from Skinnytaste and when they don't it's from Cooking Light!! ;)
-
Big difference, looks like more than a 20lb loss!!! Good for you!! Keep up the good work!
-
Looking good!!!

There is a big difference in eating enough and overeating!!! Eating at 1200 calories did not work for me. We do not need to starve ourselves in order to lose weight.

Water, water, water and if it fits into your calorie goal, have it!! I'm not a believer in denying yourself something you want.. I've not given up anything I didn't want to give up!

Try netting at least your BMR daily. Log every day, everything you eat and drink! Be consistent with logging and exercise. And do as much of your own cooking as humanly possible!! See websites like Skinnytaste and CookingLight for recipes!

If you enjoy eating it, just work it into your daily plan. I've not given up anything I didn't want to give up!

Fabulous NSV. And doesn't matter what anyone else can do. This journey is about YOU! And you just accomplished a new goal. Be proud of it!!

In December of 2009 I weighed 168 lbs, I am now 123. I joined MFP last April and have solidly stuck to this plan for 277 days. IMO 1200 is too low, I am 5'2" and 44 yrs old and held steady when I stayed at 1200 calories. I now use this spreadsheet for my calorie goals,…

How exactly have you failed if you've gone down 3 pants sizes. This isn't going to happen overnight. I'm thrilled I am in a size 2!! Am I completely happy with my body? No, not yet. I still have much work to do, but I look great and am so proud of what I have accomplished!!

I don't know, but I'm a scale addict myself. I look far better than I have in 19 years! And yet, I want to see that certain number on the scale. I know, it doesn't make any sense, but I want to see that number go down just a little lower. Let me clarify and add that I do not starve my self (diary is open if you want to…

My favorite challenge yet, but then again I am a sun worshiper! Already had more than that time in the sun today watching my boys play soccer, but as soon as I get some chores done I'm getting into my swimsuit and getting into my loungechair. Sunny and 85° today!!

I'm not handling the thought of the oldest one graduating high school in 8 weeks!!! I'd swear he only started kindergarten yesterday!!!

And that, my friend, IS the best part of being 40's!!! :flowerforyou:
-
Close in age to mine....17 (almost 18), 15 and 10
-
I was going to say that!!! 44 here!
-
Fabulous and sooooo inspiring!!

Couch to 5K is a great plan!! Is it what your doctor suggested you use?
-
It's great, had one for nearly 5 years. Sadly it's not working now and I miss it so much!
-
Kingwood too, btw!! ;)
-
Work up? Just get out there and do it. I was never a runner, not even when I was young and in shape. I started Couch to 5K last summer, took my time getting through it, repeated many weeks and am now using the Bridge to 10k app!
-
Just noticed you said "hoping", going to take more than that!! Just do it!! If it takes longer to complete it, so what! Just get out there 3X's a week and hit the pavement!!! You can do this!!
-
I was never a runner, hated even when I was in young and in shape. I struggle my way through C25K taking weeks sometimes to complete a wee when guess what? I finally completed C25K and am now on week of Bridge to 10K!!! You can do this!

There's plenty of us here!
-
I personally don't "net" below my BMR, only have 3 pounds to go! ;)

Isn't this weather we're having simply amazing?!?!?!
