Thank you. You are right. I do know the drill. It's funny how a person can get caught up in a situation and forget all logical thinking. I needed a refresher on your info! Thanks!

I am always up for a homemade healthy cookie. Gonna give this a try. I suppose using honey would be too heavy. That would make it a little more healthy.

Great job! Sometimes it is so hard to control those cravings. Way to go on your redirection! I have been adding tiny amounts of vinegar (red wine vinegar or Apple cider vinegar) to my water. It has helped so much with my blood sugar. I can talk myself through my cravings and successfully get through it. My cravings are…

Yes, I get the same thing all the time. It is exhausting listening and explaining all the time. When I find myself giving in and eating something that everyone is eating, I totally regret it later. Physically and emotionally. I remind myself that I eat the way I do because I want to and I like to. Stay Strong!! Good Luck!!

I find saying "Good Morning" as you walk by is non threatening and welcoming.

Same here. My plan over the winter to maintain, is to have my calories set at losing 1/2 pound per week. The upcoming season is always so hard for me to maintain. This year, I am going to log in every day. If this is what it take to keep it off, it is worth it. It is a pain at times, but worth it.

I am right there with you. Every summer and fall, I feel great, lose the weight that is gained over the winter, and vow to maintain Oct thru May. I have not once succeeded at this. I am very frustrated and tired of this. However, I did not use this site faithfully like I am now. So, I am going to be faithful at logging in…

Been there. I do blow it off as well. I really want to say to those people that " I don't care nor comment on what you eat so why do you care what I eat? ". I do believe that those people are jelous and feel guilty because they know that they should be eating like you and don't have the strength to. Botton line.....If you…

Ditto,Ditto,Ditto! Looking in the mirror during aerobics, I can't stop looking at my thighs. It's like a photo chop. I do get comments from my hubby and others about how thin I am; like you they are just not used to seeing me like this. I am about average now in the body mass index for my height, so I am not going to let…

I run into this all of the time. It is frustrating why people comment on what I eat at lunch or when we go out. I don't comment on what they consume; I don't really care what is on their plate, why do they care what is on mine? My reply to their comment is usually simply "Yummy". If they ask if I had any of the cookies or…

Like you, I knew that my breasts would shrink. Now that I am the lowest I have ever been and continue to lose small amounts, I want to lose from my thighs but continue to flatten my breasts. I guess I will take what I get. I feel great no matter where it is coming off of.

Nice job. I must say DITTO on the lightest of my adult life. Always hovered around 155 to 160. Now I am 145 at 43 years old. I fee so much better. I am trying to maintain right now. I am nervous about blowing it. I am going to stay on MFP and this should help me stay on track. Good luck and have fun on your holidays!!!!

Can these be frozen and reheated? We have chickens, and sometimes get way too many eggs during the summer, then not very many during the winter. I would love to be able to make and save to eat during the winter months.

Me too! It has taken a long time. I just kept at it, stayed the course, then all of a sudden...BAM. I still keep thinking it is a fluke and will pop back up, but it hasn't yet. Great job!! Stay the course.

Way to Go!

Great Job!!! Way to fight through that. I struggle with self image as well. Taking Vitamin D has really been a mood lifter and I do feel much better about myself. Now I just fight through the emotions of my pessamist husband. (making progress). Stay tough!!

Hi Smiley, I joined over one year ago and still trying to figure out how eveything works. I need to visit this site daily. I have been down on myself for over one year. Recently been diagnosed with low vitamin D levels. Started on prescription strength Vit D. Wow, what a difference. I do feel alot better now. My workouts…

Thanks for replying over one year ago. I have no excuse as to why I never checked for any responses. I am going to see if I can figure out how to friend people. Do you have any experience with the fitbit? Also some news that I just have to share. All of the hype about vitamin D is true. I am low on vit D, taking a…

If us women want equality, then there is nothing wrong with it. Just make sure you know the guy before a permanant commitment. I myself have made the first move and as a result have gotten married(both times). For me, the guys I have chosen have underlying self esteem problems. I am hanging in there with the second…

I hear you. I wouldn't say that my husband under mines me, rather, he is not supportive. In his eyes(and most people), he does not think that I need to lose weight. He has gotten a little better over the last couple of year. I struggle every winter and get very depressed about it. It takes me months to get back on track.…
