I am on Day 2 so I will let you know. I am trying to do cardio on high carb days, and weights and resistance on low carb days. Carbs=Energy and you burn more energy on cardio days.

P90x gives you a lot of weight training, and Insanity seems to be high cardio with some resistance training. I did P90x last year and lost about 15 lbs in the 90 days, but lost lots of inches. I am on day 5 of insanity and have lost a couple pounds already. It is a toss up so far.

You can also use vaseline or diaper rash cream to keep the chaffing down, but body glide is really good.

The best exercises that don't impact your spine, are walking, recumbant bike, and anything in the pool. Start slow on anything and build each day. It is the only way. if you go full force the first couple of times you can hurt yourself and you will not stick with it.

Of course. I am in a size 14 now and I bought 2 pairs of jeans and returned them to get a size 12. I want to look forward and not back. I do recommend not hanging onto anything in too big sizes because then you have the excuse to go back.
