Anyone, feel free to add me. I have been on here a while but I am staring over with 40 lbs to lose. Most of the friends I had are inactive now so I would love some new active members to be motivated with!

I needed to hear ALL of these things. Thanks for posting.

You look Great!!!! Awesome work!!!

Hey hey! Sent you a request.

In that past I've managed to lose steadily by doing vodka and seltzer water with few drops of mio for flavor. But only if I indulge one day a week. Anymore and weight loss stalls.

Hey there!! I was diagnosed about 3 years ago. I am very fortunate in that my symptoms are mild and I have maintained my mobility thus far. I suffer mostly with issues in my upper body (shoulders/arms/hands) & from the depressive episodes that seem to plague MS folks. I have been here on MFP for about 5 years. I am…

I eat chia pudding every morning. To make a single serving- three tablespoons chia seeds, 1 teaspoon cocoa (or more to taste), stevia to taste, 3/4 cup unsweet coconut or almond milk (I have also used water and although it wasn't creamy, it was edible). I whisk the dry ingredients together, whisk in the wet, and let it sit…

This is has been a great read!! I am constantly worried about doing it "wrong". Thanks all!

Anyone in this thread is welcome to add me :)

My knees don't scream at me when I use the treadmill or elliptical. I made a shopping list, stuck to it, & meal prepped.

You're amazing!!!!!

I love this! My goals are staying within carb goal, being more active, and logging consistently. Logging helps me IMMENSELY when I do it daily. I have not been working out at all. I would like to get back to exercising regularly. (I used to work out in some form 6-7 days a week. I just got lazy) We have a gym at work & I…

I love seeing couples succeed together!! Way to go!!!

5'3 and 172 lbs here. 1200 is a great number for me. On days I work out it's definitely closer to 1500, but sometimes no. I lose about 1 lb a week when I am not "trying" and when I really stick to it, 2 lbs.

I am preparing to start back LCHF and I am wondering - should I up sodium intake right away or wait to see how I feel? I didn't seem to suffer much with keto flu last time (only when it was 95 degrees out). Thoughts? Currently my family DOES have a tendency to opt for low sodium foods. Perhaps just make sure I don't…

That's great!! I actually just scheduled and appointment with a therapist. I hoping for the best.

All great advice. Thank you.

Thanks for all the input. It helps to know I am not alone in this. I have had to force myself to get rid of anything that I will binge on. Chips and ice cream are my go to indulgences. I have to force myself to not buy them.

This is great advice. I was REALLY feeling it a few days ago. I drove 2 miles to the track and walked for an hour. It definitely helped. I think the outside air helped free up the negativity I was holding on to.

I also have MS. Thanks or the top in the book. I will take a peek at it.
-
I like jello- thanks for the tip. I will try this. Also, I too find it is FAR worse if I am tired as is the depression. Thinking I need to start getting in some more rest.
-
This. If let myself get too hungry I will hurry up and eat as much as I can as fast as I can.

Oh yes, the dreaded weekends. I use the "but it's Friday" excuse. And I also get sucked into the couch/plate of food/netflix trap. My husband works nights and I work days so it's especially hard when I feel lonely. I eat and curl up and watch TV.

Am I the only one uncomfortable calling PEOPLE a drain on the system??? Geez man, I have MS. Guess I am a DRAIN too. Yikes.

I eat all day long. I measure out serving sizes of fruit, veggies, hummus, toast with peanut butter, cheese and yogurt. I eat my veggies raw or sometimes I steam them in the microwave if I want something hot. I also like to make veggie soup broth and drink it from a cup. I pretty much eat every hour and don't usually feel…
