I'm an all or nothing. I do fine without sugar and don't really miss it, but let me get a little and it is all over. I would love to be someone that could have chocolate every now and then, but for me there is no such thing as a little chocolate.

Planet Fitness!! I love it there!

I'm from Charlotte! :)

My .38 always!

To or not to is always a 50/50 opinion. Myself I take them, the benefits for me out way the risk. I do take the lowest effective dose. Its the quality of life that is the decision maker for me.

I'm glad it came off. There are so many different reasons you can gain "water" weight. Lack of sleep will make you retain water or the temps. I will bloat up like a toad when it is hot and humid or if I don't get enough sleep.

I feel the same way when someone our age is not losing and the first thing everyone says is you are not eating enough...bump up your calories. The said truth is at my age and current hormonal situation I would gain. It is not all in the "math" there are to many variables that vary from person to person....age...current…

I've been there and on top of panic attacks. I got to the place I didn't even recognize myself. Have the Dr. test your hormone levels, he might not won't to, but insist on it. HRT helped some, but I ended up on an anti-depressant. The Dr suggested it and I fought it for awhile, but finally got so miserable. They were the…

Your Dr can run test on your hormones that will tell the levels and where you are. I had mine do them because I had a hysterectomy about 3 years ago, but kept my ovaries, so didn't have a clue other than the symptoms.

An SSRI is an antidepressant. They have been a life saver with the anxiety.

I love the gym. You can check into Planet Fitness, if they have one in your area, 10.00 a month and no contract. I find that paying for the gym keeps me going!

Alot of very good information!! I think I can relate to about 80% of them. :)
-
For me....I feel better when I am taking them. The benefits far out weigh the risk. Quality of life is more important to me than longevity.
-
Very encouraging. I actually believe this. We may never be 25 years old again, but we can be in great shape for our age. :)
-
To track? I think it would be wonderful. You would just be using to track that you are eating enough and getting the right nutrition. Up you calories goals to what expectant moms needs.

Harris Teeter has Dietz & Watson Lite Turkey about 1/2 the sodium.

I'm 5'3". Currently at 123, and trying to get back to 120. That is about the weight that I feel the best. The lowest was about 108 a couple of years ago. I thought I looked good, but didn't feel good. I just did not feel strong and healthy.

I don't know about plateaus, But yes they have it easier, in my opinion. They are not designed to carry extra fat like women and they require more calories than women. My BF and I were doing BMR the other night. We are the same age and about the same bodyfat%. His BMR is 600 calories higher than mine. That almost a whole…

It doesn't bother me at all, except for when I log in at work. There are some that people would really wonder what website you were on, if they passed by.

I would try some of the one line calculators. Something is not quite right. 49% body fat is not in the healthy range for a 5'4" women. Fitness 21-24% Acceptable 25-31% Obeses 32% or more These are the American Council for Exercise standards.

I log, even when it hurts. It blows my mind and is a reminder exactly how many calories there are in the things I don't eat normally during the week.

My dad has not smoked in 2 years, but still keeps a pack. He carried them with him for a long time after he quit, just liked having them. What ever works. :)

I worried about that when I had my hysterectomy a couple of years ago. Take it very slowly, walking is a good thing. It also helps the recovery. So I walked alot (very slowly, LOL) and watched what I ate. Although you are not burning many calories during recovery from activities your body burns extra calories during the…

Are you weighing and measuring your food? Do you think you could be overestimating your calories burned and or underestimating your calories consumed?
-
I'm feeling very normal right now.

I do better tracking when I eat from home. Eating out kills me. I try not to eat out more than 2 evening a week. Basically it ends up with me eating to maintain the weekends....If that makes sense. If it wasn't for the BF I would eat from home 100% of the time.

Why not trying drinking it with no sugar? Ween yourself off of it slowly, just go down be a teaspoon every couple of days and get adjusted to the taste. I haven't used any sweetener in tea, hot or cold in years. I actually prefer it more now, and actually get more flavor from the tea. **That's coming from down South where…

Oops! **Backs out of thread** ...I thought you meant the ones with motors. :)

That is what I would do, kind of like zig zagging. You are not going to go into starvation mode in one day, contrary to what some may think. I actually really like the idea of zig zagging, keep you body guessing. :-)
