When you sent him pictures did you send current pictures? Were you honest with him? I know you said you told him you had gained weight, but........ what was he expecting? Either way he could have reacted better.

I'm lucky enough to have the NC mountains 100 miles from my backyard. Although The Dragon is a right of passage, I think it is a bit over rated. 441 from Cherokee to Gatlinburg is my favorite!! 276 is an awesome ride also. Once you hit the NC mountains there is days and days of good riding.

It's everywhere. We have had a few days here and there, but still way below normal. We had 75 on Saturday and was awesome but......it like being tickled gas came down to 3.70 instead of 3.90. We should be well into Spring here in the Carolina but ......NOT! I am tired of riding looking and feeling like Ralphie's little…

I do an allover workout and do a lot of lifting. I can tell a 100% difference when I do and when I don't. I concentrate on the muscles used when having to move the bike around at a stop.

By spring you should be in those XL's. :)

I am in the same boat. I eat more and gain more, eat less and exercise more stay the same. My fitbit has been great to try and figure out my TDEE. It can be an eye opener. I do think without something like the fitbit and a food scale that we do over/under estimate our calories. Typically during the work week I average 1850…

When they done my hysterectomy, they didn't know if they would take the ovaries or not until they got in there. My doctor ask me if I wanted HRT if they had to take them. He said it would be up to me, but he thinks the advantages far out weigh the risks. He said if I didn't take them I would most diffidently gain weight…

I love mine! It has given me a pretty good idea of my daily calorie burn. It seems to be accurate and can be an eye opener.

I belong to Planet Fitness here and love it!!

It all depends on your current weight and age. The older the less you are going to burn. I know this from experience.

I quit thinking in terms of meals along time ago. I eat about 200 calories every 3 hours. I don't break my food on MFP into meals either, just daily intake, which I add everything I am going to eat either the night before of that morning.

Now that was very interesting. I am average in Vietnam. :) What I was really shock by was that if everyone in the world was the same BMI as I am, it would lose 21,231,668 tonnes.

A Sig P238 carries nicely. :)

Yes! I love mine!! I couldn't get a handle on my TDE with the kind of job I have, I have a desk job but get alot of walking in during the day. I found out I actually burn more than I thought. It has taken all of the guess work out of knowing how many calories I can have on a daily bases. It has been a huge eye opener.

I've belonged to PF for a couple of years. I love it!! I think the pizza and bagels get a bad rap. You don't have to eat it or the tootsie rolls. If you go the in moderation route, one slice of pizza or a bagel is not going to make or break you. I love, love, love the fact that they do not cater to the big lug heads like…

You can keep it off! I have for about 25 years. BUT.......you never can give up working on it. Yes the minute I relax my eating habits or exercise, it starts creeping back on.
-
Patience! It doesn't come off as quickly as in my younger days, but it will. HRT has helped me.

Educate yourself and learn what all of the hormones in the body do and the lack of them, learn the symptoms. There are so many and so much going on during this time. I have not had trouble with the traditional ones like hot flashes. For me it is the odd ball stuff....excessive gas, tingling hands, anxiety out the roof,…

I know alot are against them but.....HRT. It makes a huge difference for me and the benefits out weight the risk. I take the oral so that I can control the dosages and don't take any more than is necessary.

[/quote] Quote I have a S&W .38 Airweight revolver that I carry. It hurts the **** out of my hand to shoot it though. I do practice with it on occasion at the range so I stay proficient with it. I'm female so it's easier for me to conceal, smaller & lighter but I feel sure it will get the job done. I did get a laser for it…
