I'm very sorry for your loss! Thank you for the kind words. At first, I thought I would never get out of how I felt, when I have an off day now, I look back and think wow, I really did come this far. Day by day I have learned to manage a little bit better . All the best to you and your wife

I'm very sorry for the loss of your son. On the opposite side of it, Congratulations on birth of your daughter! Best of luck to you!! :flowerforyou:

Thank you! I'm very sorry for your losses as well. I am glad to hear that you have your four kids now after two losses. Hearing things like that always helps give me hope. I am also hoping that it will not happen a second time, (sometimes I feel selfish saying that). I know that I am going to be super nervous regardless! I…

I always think to myself that I couldn't have asked for anyone better than him! It gives you that extra boost of confidence and energy too!! It lets you know, Hey!! Hard work is paying off :) I've never tried pilates before, but I've been wanting to try zumba. Even if I didn't go to an actual class (which I think would be…

Wow! I am so, so sorry to hear about that. May I ask what happened? If you're not comfortable talking about it - I do understand. My condolences to you, that takes a lot of strength and courage to be able to pick yourself up from something like that and get the help you feel you need! I wish you nothing but the best. Hugs!…

I am so sorry for your loss! Thank you for the kind words. I think it is something that will stick with us forever in one way or another. It has made me appreciate the small things, life can change at any moment. My ob also said 2-3 months. We can't put a watch on grieving, but I guess we also can't let it take over our…

I see my family doctor for anxiety already and he has been great, so I don't think I will have any worries, which I am thankful for! A long story short, blood work told us that I am O negative and since we are not sure which blood type my fiance has, the hospital was going to give me the rhogam shot but didn't. I'm still…

Thank you! I am sorry for your loss as well. I actually never even thought of postpartum depression for some reason, I'm not sure why I haven't. Thank you for mentioning that. I am going to speak with my family doctor, my ob/gyn is a great dr. but never really seemed to be too concerned with anything post miscarriage.

Thank you for all of your great advice!! I was saying to someone else above this post that I was talking to my fiance about going to a therapist so I can get fully back on track and I also was mentioning that we have been talking about gym memberships as I feel this will also help me get out, keep me determined to head to…

Thank you for all of the amazing advice! We had been trying to conceive for about two years when I found out I was pregnant so it was just complete shock. It took over my life completely the first week or so, I didn't even want to leave my bed. So far, I think I have made some good progression, but not enough as I'd like,…

Thank you very much for the kind words! I was actually talking to my fiance last night about possibly talking to my doctor about seeking a therapist :) Hoping it will help!

My fiancee showed me some simple at home work outs with resistance bands and 5lb weights for my triceps, there's lots of different ones :). I found a good link where it shows how to do it, and these are basically all of the ones he showed me anyway (I can't explain it in words well). I'm not sure how to make the link…

I told a family member how my goal weight is around 120 (eventually) and I was told I'd look gross. This taught me to not open up about my goals to just anybody! Lol

Sorry for what you're going through. Don't change/lose weight solely to get a guys full attention back. If you appreciate you for you, than you'll also find someone else who appreciates you for who you truly are as well. If he didn't accept your 40/lb weight gain due to your medical issue (well medical issue or not) than…

Biggest obstacle would be having a low confidence level towards losing weight. PCOS has made it extremely difficult thus far, so I've had the mentality of "Why bother trying really hard when it's probably not going to come off?". Something I need to get over.

Thank you all for your replies, and all of the info! I'll have to check my lab requisition to see what exact things they're checking in regards to my thyroid. I remember back when my family doctor gave me my original results on my thyroid he said that they're not allowed to test it a specific way. So he said the "back door…
