I can’t believe it’s almost mid-September already! I’m in a funk. I had a good August, disciplined, motivated ... and now, I can’t get out of the gloomy stuck feeling. Which doesn’t help the weight loss journey!! Keep jumping back and forth between 151-153!! Tips on how to shake the blues?!

I’ve been all over the place busy this week! And TOM has kept me steady at 153.2 and 152.2 even though I’m eating at my calorie goal, exercising and not eating all my exercise calories back (usually have between 100-200 calories left from working out)! I agree with everyone else’s comments. Those would be my initial thoughts: 1. Accuracy in calorie counting (scale, measurement). 2. Eating back exercise calories. 3. Water retention. Yep. I started back in 2011 (earlier if I count Weigh Watchers) at 190lbs. I’m focusing on logging EVERY day and adding exercise/movement 6 days a week. This week is my usual water retention, 2-3lbs gain due to girlie time, so I’m giving doing something I’ve struggled with in the past: not obsess on the number on the scale this week and instead showing me kindness!

I have a virtual class which lasts 4 hours (and then 2-3 hrs of homework). I get up during the 30 min breaks and squeeze in a 15-20min HIIT or yoga in there! Keeps me from eating mindlessly and gets me my activity points!

Gained 14lbs thanks to CoVid quarantine madness. Back pain has gotten me off my working out. I’m slowly getting back into it. My mini goal is to make it down to 149lbs, log every day, and continue to add bits of exercise.
